I'm actually start to liking this show. Mostly the family dynamic stuff was so cool. I really wanted to see the family side of these heros. And let's not forget they're teasing us with X-men references and that Wolverine Easter egg was great. Other than few issues that I have, I like She-Hulk so far.

as far as i can remember the beginning of the mcu was okay with recasting. hulk and roadey for example. i cant think off the top of my head of any others. but it was necessary then. now i think they try to avoid it. they arent as much forced to do it as their actors arent "super" problematic (as much as DCs heroes) but i like that they two main ones that they did at least, that they decided to still keep those characters canonized in the MCU

But that makes sense, you know, to be willing to recast early on. Much easier to recast early on before your "successful movie" turns into a blockbuster franchise. And the recasts weren't arbitrary. Ed Norton can reputedly be something of a pain to work with, and his negotiations with Feige dragged on to the point that Feige opted to switch horses. Terrence Howard's was a bit dicier as it seemed to be purely about money, but I think he thought he'd stay the highest paid actor for IM2 like he was for IM1, and that wasn't going to happen. I think Feige knew to set the business tone early to keep issues from arising later on. To Marvel's credit, their castings have been largely problem- and drama-free, a few minor dust-ups notwithstanding. And I agree that it's nice to give a nod to the original actors.

This episode aired on my 30th birthday yesterday, and that was ultra special. Glad to be alive for that. Felt truly special. Anywho, regarding the episode itself, 5 big takeaways from it: - Wolverine exists in the MCU, and I'm goddamn excited about that. He's my all-time favorite superhero. - They FINALLY referenced Eternals. And haters wanna say that that movie was "a big pile of nothing". Yeah, right. - The meta reference to the Hulk recasting? *chef's kiss* - Looks like World War Hulk is coming! - Really delightful to see Tim Roth back as Emil Blonsky/Abomination. I honestly never thought we'd see him again. Overall, very fun follow-up to the pilot episode. Can't wait for next week. Also, the whiny douchebag man-babies that still wanna talk shit about this show can go kick rocks. I am enjoying this, and they ain't gonna take that away from me, no matter how hard they try.

Bruce in human form with the hulk inhibitor and damaged arm occurs after shang chi in the post credit scene but months before this scene as shown in last week flashback. This fight club scene from shang chi should have taken place months ago, not right at this time.

Do you know a hulk in real life that has experienced what you said?
