Oddly enough, I keep waiting to hear Danny politely interjecting, "If I may, I'd like to get a closer look at the hand carved details on the front of this cabinet..." Danny then zooms in on the priceless antique. Love your work, Lesley. Always have and always will. The absence of Danny stings a bit. You two were an amazing team! Upward and onward. I hope only the best for you both. Thank you for another fabulous exploration of this amazing French castle.

I loved Danny's comments! That sucks! I've been wondering if Lesley decided Danny challenged him too much on some things and it bothered him? Danny would say, "No, I think that's a ___", you know? I always thought that Lesley was professionally gracious when being corrected by his friend. Oh, I hope that's not the case. Egos are so fragile. I wish Lesley would respond to the question of "WHERE'S DANNY??"

To give you a bit of context, Danny and I have been exploring together for around four years, sharing some truly incredible adventures during that time. But life is never stagnant-beautiful chapters come and go. I will always look back on our journey with love and gratitude, cherishing everything we created together. That said, I believe this decision is the right one for both of us. Just as Bros Of Decay evolved when my brother Jordy and I parted ways a few years ago. Over the years, many amazing people have been part of the channel, and I’m excited to introduce new faces in the future. I hope you’ll all understand and continue to join me on this journey. Here’s to bringing you even more incredible adventures from around the world, alongside more inspiring people. Happy New Year, my lovely community! ❤️

I will begin this comment by saying thank you (Lesley and Leslie) for taking us on this grand tour. I can't imagine how seeing this and touching its beauty made you feel. Just an experience of a lifetime. These places seem to somehow carry us back to our own roots. I've watched all of your explorations time and again I share your explorations especially of the castles with many whom I know. My family are great fans. It's my opinion that while you take us on these explorations it brings out the very best of your inner exploration skills. You are fairly glowing with happiness as you introduce the fine details. The art in this place is just beautiful the painting of the pansy flowers just a wonder to my eyes personally and that's just one of my favorite things about this. There are just too many antiquities in this place for me to comment on or else my comment would be longer than it already is. I can see why the owner of this place wanted to restore it while I too am very sad, she didn't get to finish imagining how she felt while she was restoring it must had been the fondest times of her days. Just the beauty she left behind makes it all worthwhile. Now if someone would take notice of this grand castle and finish restoration that was started and first dedicate it to the owner and then put it to good use for museum quality this would be an outcome, we would all want to see happen. Thank you for our tour today and the older gentleman reading the letter, very nice touch. Bravo'

I just died watching the lead-in of the castle from air with my favorite concerto in D (minor? or Major?) Awesome! This is the best-restored mansion I have seen YET! How horrible the lovely woman who gave everything she could for its restoration has passed. If there is any place that you might be able to move into and continue restorations, this one would be it! So much work has already been accomplished so beautifully! My only suggestion for all your great experiences amongst the old world would be to learn more about the artifacts that I so often see the camera scan past while I fall off my chair seeing such beautiful and well-renowned items, that many people simply call chochki's. Lladro, Royal Doultan, LeLeque, fine proclaim that is wafer thin from China, Beleek from Ireland, Waterford crystal, Italian hand blown art glass.... you are walking amongst treasures that I hate to see left behind to ruin. It breaks my heart, but I understand the importance of leaving things as they were left-if not in a little better situation by moving them out of the way of falling tiles to insure their longevity as long as possible. I often wish I was there in person to pick up a broom and sweep up floors, and better preserve what others are trashing. Can you imagine what could be achieved with a group of 50 people with brooms and rags and wheel barrows, cleaning up all the trash and leaving the sparking remains of these places?? I hope you are sending or sharing your videos with reservation groups from the areas where you are touring. I pray more restoration can take place like some you have unveiled!

This castle is absolutely beautiful, I wanted to see more 🙂 I bet the kitchen was in the basement area or maybe in another building entirely. All of the large old clocks were amazing throughout the place. I love how she was renovating the rooms, they looked so nice. I wonder if they did plan for it to be a hotel of some kind. The unfinished paintings did make me a bit sad, but it is good to see them shared for many people to see, that is a cool way to honor the memory of Charlotte. Amazing place, Lesley, thank you 💖💖

It was wonderful to see the tour of this beautiful castle, of course very sad that the renovations were not completed. There are such fine details it is incredible to know the ideas and perfection in design that the owners of the castle thought of and aimed for. I hope one day someone is available and wealthy enough to take this castle on, it has grounds and medieval buildings beside it and could become a good hotel experience or visitor attraction, these beautiful castles should not be lost.

Everything would have looked even better with some lighting.especially the chandeliers and tapestries etc. My favourite video of you was a castle in Italy? it had letters from tennents i think the date on it was 16 something.somebody who lived there was into collecting figurines especially religious looking statues.there was black mould in one of the bedrooms and a statue of jupiter? Leaf print in the stone is a "FOSSIL". Created when the strong material that later became a rock, is fused with a shell or leaf or even animal bones, wood, etc. The rock to be soft, would likely have something to do with volcanic activity or clay, but I am not well versed on how fossils come about. Just that they are somewhat rare.
