I think what you would call twang is just her style. Sometimes not finishing a word so she can drag it out, breath control, etc (sounds amazing) For example when she says river and it sounds like riva or child may sound like chile. @@hecticreaction Yes it is a deep rabbit hole, and one which you likely will not want to escape! The deeper you go, the more you will discover that is special to you. I have followed her for 5 years and one of the big things I have learned is that she is a vocal chameleon. She can sing any style and any genre and create her own style as well. There are approximately 80 artists that she covers in this playlist and she does justice to every one of them. Your choice if you proceed chronologically and watch her develop through the years, or whether you skip around. Her originals are fantastic and all are totally different. When it comes to heartfelt ballads, the only singer on par with emotion laden penetration like Angelina is Billie holiday, her musical mentor. There is no way that even a great non-jazz singer like Adele can match the intensity Angelina brings forth. Vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl has a comparison video of both Adele and Angelina called 'Is this Better than Adele?' He breaks down both singers in all sections of the song and shows how Adele presents a much more colder rendition than the super warm vibes coming from Angelina. Just a piano and Angelina is all you need for a Masterpiece performance. You've reacted to about 4 performances so far. All of them cream of the crop but you've only scratched the surface. As far as favorites be prepared for that to change almost as often as you change underwear. LOL Great reaction. So much for you to look forward to. Hello 🙂 I have watched all your 4 reactions to her now, and I got really excited when I saw that you had reacted to this one, as it gives you quite a lot of answers when it comes to what she can do when she adds a bit more power. You have noticed, and also commented on the fact that she never shows off for the sake of showing off. But it makes you kinda curious what she sounds like when she pushes her voice a little more. I have been following her since her audition on Norway's Got Talent and I have heard every note she has ever sung (at least in front of a camera 🙂) and I can tell you that there have been a LOT of proof in that regard throughout her career. She has covered songs in at least 8 genres so far, by more than 100 different artists, and there simply IS no limit as to what she can do. She is called "The girl with a thousand voices" for a reason. IMO she sounds better than the original more often than not. This song is one of those. I believe she has covered like 13 of Adele's songs so far, as Adele is one of Angelina's biggest idols among the contemporary artists, and I really have to say that I prefer Angelina in all of them...LOL Maybe check out another cover of Adele, recorded in studio? She had JUST turned 15 (or could possibly still be 14 at the time of recording) when she performed "All I Ask". Here she also flexes her chords a bit, all the while sitting down on a stage no less 😅 I know for a fact that you will love that one too. And 98% of all her other performances as well. Or so I think. When she did this 'cover' it was within a few weeks of Adele's original. It got in my head so much, I couldn't believe the emotional response I had from this. To be clear, I love Adele and have all her LPs on vinyl, but this song didn't make me feel the way I do when Angie did this. Btw, she has a Insta version she did the day after the Adele release and that is awesome too❤

Yeah, I think she recorded it at 4am the following morning. The scary part is that that performance is almost on par with this one. Thanks for your reaction! She is only 17 years old today and from Norway. She signed with the label Republic Records just 14 years old, I think we can safely leave the promotion to Republic Record. Marketing will start when her full album is released later this year. There's only one EP with 6 songs she's released from RR now, and they haven't started marketing until the full album is released!. Republic Records know 100% what they are doing? I think a lot of people don't realize how much Angelina has done in her short life (17). She performed FIFA AWARD song, and performed in front of 40 000 people only 11 years old invited by Norah Jones. She was also specially invited by Quincy Jones to perform on his 85th birthday in the O2 arena / London. And so on goes the list... She has over 250 songs on KZbin with cover songs and many originals. Angelina also plays piano and guitar.

Angelina is only 15 here and is turning 18 in January. She has done quite a few more recent songs. You hear the emotion emphatically here because the song is somewhat autobiographical.
