JUST got out of 3 months of talking to someone who “wasn’t ready”. Learn from me. I made the mistake of still talking every day. I actually talked to coach Adrian about this and he told me to reach out to her in a few weeks because it’s trauma based. I’ve been in no contact since that day. Before she left we expressed our love for each other, hugged and kissed for a long time. I didn’t text her or call her since. It’s been almost 3 weeks and within this time, I noticed that my feelings for her may have just been from the love bombing. I’m out growing her already and noticing exactly what you said; she doesn’t make me feel alive, she makes me feel stuck in a sense and almost tamed. She cares too much about validation from other people it made me feel not as exclusive. She makes me feel like I have to play mind games to keep her. After NC for 3 weeks I start to realise I was addicted to the chemistry and not actually her. When you're in something so intense, you don't see it. This is good advice. A lot of coaches refer to passive aggressive approaches without getting into the psychology of the two sides. Go no contact. Ignore her. Date other girls. Do this don't do that. I've always told guys that I'm not ready for a relationship, and they would always be like "oh it's fine, I just want to be around you, even as a friend" or whatever. So we would do stuff together and they would be very nice and caring, but I would stand my ground that I'm not ready and treat them as friends, as I told them I would! I've seen a lot of this videos deal with the fact that the girl says this and walks away, recently my gf went through a terrible grief because her father passed away, other problems rained down on her plus the lockdown and in my support I might have been over her a little bit too much, today she dropped the "i think i cant handle a relationship right now" to which I asked her if that was final or if she would rather think about it and she chose to think about it, i left her alone for a few hours and while not back to normal (she had withdrawn emotionally from everyone) she took a bit more interest in to what I had been doing today and for the first time in weeks she said she was proud, dropped a few I love you's and baby's but is still distant, I'm not sure how much to back away and how available I should remain until she figures out herself.

You could not be more spot on! I’m in that situation right now. It started online. Have met and went very well. It was enjoyable for both I’m confident. The texts before and after meeting were going on daily mornings and evenings often as we shifted to a different channel to communicate. Photos exchanged about where we live, pets, sunsets, songs (mostly mine to her). Things seems to begin to get a little more stale so I sort of dove a little in. I wrote in a song in text Jody Mitchell, Help me (I think I’m falling). Keep in mind our exchanges are in Spanish so she might not know who Joni Mitchell is and help me certainly doesn’t come across if this was taken as I sent this to her meaning it was for someone else named Joni Mitchell and saying help me. And even if she did take it as meant I would have taken it as needy. No word or text back. I kind of felt I needed to know because she wouldn’t indicate, even after all the questions early on giving fairly strong indicators headed towards something. But I think I understand so I haven’t answered back. I think we both enjoyed the interaction/s, but I also believe we both needed some space for even the possibility of this to work, or maybe not work out at all. It’s only been a few days and I plan on at least two weeks if no word before hand. Maybe a little longer. I need to collect myself and who I am meanwhile. One of the topics is it is her dream to see whales and turtles. September is the month for both and I am certain I can make this happen.
