My two sons Kited in Jurien Bay and it was really windy! It looks like you stopped in Lancelin judging by the huge sand dunes in the background. We kited there as well. Beautiful scenery as you travel north. We stopped in Geraldton, Carnarvon and kited at Pelican point and it was great! If you are not in a hurry to get north to Carnarvon, stop at Monkey Mia for the dolphins. Moving north from Carnarvon you will hit Shark Bay and Coral Bay just south of Ningaloo Cape Range National Park. There you can enjoy Turquoise Bay but be careful around the reef. When you reach the tip of the Northwest Cape, there is a cool lighthouse to explore, a wreck called the Mildura you can dive and around towards the bay side is Exmouth where you will have a blast! Loads of Americans lives there and many more lived there when the Navy had a Comm station there. The town is full of good food and nice shops. You might run into Brodie Moss and he can show you a lot of great fishing locations. Good luck in your travels!

I hate to sound like a commercial but I also LOVE that mini vacuum sealer! It works just as good if not better than the expensive full size models. I highly recommend the optional jar sealer for vacuum sealing mason jars. You don't want to seal liquids (or even damp items like meat) in the plastic bags because you will allow moisture and fluids to enter the motor and possibly damage the unit.
@ronparcke-wms21463 жыл бұрын
I use to use the hand pump one. Got disappointed after a few uses since wouldn't hold the seal indefinitely until I needed to open the package.

As a Perth local, I was soooo looking forward to this episode showcasing my home town. . I was disappointed with the lack of commentary about the places you stopped at.. Lancelin is THE windsurfing capital of Australia but it didn’t,t rate a mention. looks like you were at the Abrolhos Islands too - such amazing history there but again no commentary. maybe I,m being parochial, but this is the first time I,ve been disappointed with one of your otherwise first class episodes. At about 6:55 you show the speed etc. I was wondering if it would be too much trouble someday to explain what I am seeing on the chart plotter in detail. Like what is what? The experienced sailors will laugh I know. But, I am just learning! 7:26 you are at 9.3 kn. or 10.7 mph that little sucker really goes. But, what was the wind speed? there I got lost. Thank You and Happy Trails
