Reassurance is the absolute importance when it comes to doing a certain task and having that confidence to really perform that task well. I know she can do it better with a bit more practice. She really understands how it can be done which is really good to see

That is such a common fail after the emergency stop . People made thst mistake when i did my test 30 years ago. I had a lesson a couple of nights before and asked about it . She said don't worry about we'll do before the test. Then what ever you do check both blindspots before moving off or you will fall . So everything was super fresh in my head for test for the emergency stop

Honestly mate I’m very proud of myself and of my achievements and of my accomplishments, before I only ever drove in my small local town and I only had 5 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructors in Loughborough, Syston and Leicester on dual carriageways, on Thursday I went on the motorway for the first time alone, I’ve never been on a motorway before with a driving instructor, not to come across as big headed or anything like that but I think that’s pretty good going and I’m extremely proud of myself.

Thank you so much for being proud of me mate, I really appreciate it! ☺️ I read the motorway rules and the motorway signals a few times so I know what everything means, sometimes you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone and just do it, once you get the practice and the experience then it becomes easy, like everything in life, I’ve been to Fosse Park, I think my next challenge that I’ll set myself is Highcross, I bet my mum and my sister will want me to take them shopping! 🛍️ 😂

I’m sure it will go great! 😀 I haven’t used my sat nav in so many years but I gave it an update and surprisingly it still works but to be honest I didn’t need to use it very much, I just followed the road signs and the road markings, also, having a look on google maps before your journey is so useful and so helpful, knowing which lane you need to be in before your journey gives you more confidence! ☺️

Good driving is all about confidence. My best tip for mway driving… always always keep a good distance. I drive 30k a year 80% on mway, Most accidents reallly are caused by being too close to the car in front. (Also speed)

I'm learning in an automatic when I get to the point of learning the emergency brake should I still put the handbrake on, or is it ok just to keep the brake down while I do my checks and then move off?
