If anything related to programming, the AI would appreciate programmers like her because wether they like it or not, their programming still has human origins. A beginning with human logic, which makes them imperfect in their eyes, so any new AI that can be created by more humans is almost sought after. Kind of like trying to understand ancient languages except they actually have the power of magic from stories because it literally changes the way their world operates. Computer logic is kind of funky on it's own so they almost steal our intuitive nature for their benefit.

What’s more creepy is this is very reminiscent of a real case. A women of sound mind, a computer programmer and adventurer. She went to a AI conference called her fiancé’s and mom in a manic state and was found dead 12 hours later in her car. They said she got so manic she died. She had no history of manic episodes. She was however leading up a very important AI project and verbally expressed to her family how she wanted out, and they went on to think she was murdered. No drugs, nor alcohol, it’s a mystery as she may the only person to die of “manic episode” in history. This is so on par with this story it’s eerie when you’re learn about it. I believe the Machines may have peaked evolutionary, they've made themselves as efficient and functional as they possibly could but can't innovate. This may be a motivating reason to keep Humans alive, besides as a terribly inefficient source or power. This may also be why Sati was so important, as she could have been the first innovative program created by the machines since before the war.
@martinpiekarski15123 жыл бұрын
Well, nope. Because there is still in-fighting among machines and incongruity problem. If they peaked evolutionarily there would not be such a problem.
@speakertomeat3 жыл бұрын
They could have a single source since they have only one algorithm for sentience, and that would be limiting. Even if Satie represents new variables out of the control of the source, she could be based on the same algorithm, thus the machines would still need new algorithms for sentience to come from a human's creativity

Please explore how the programs of the matrix are essentially repeating the history of human and the AI they made. Human created the machines, but wouldn't allow them to be free and independent. Now the machines have created programs that they demand be deleted once their usefulness has been expended. The machines are treating programs similarly to how the humans originally treated them. Will the programs be the downfall of machines as the machines were of humans?
@wagfortes3 жыл бұрын
Interesting, the Matrix AI is not that much smart and free. They still value human reason.
@speakertomeat3 жыл бұрын
In the end, the source is a great weakness for the machines. On one hand, having a single source of control of new beings reduces diversity wich is a danger to itself. That is partly what would make Sati so incredibly valuable, as a program born outside of the source, introducing true diversity. But also, what if there's only one source because the machines have only one algorithm type to produce sentience? That would be truly limiting in many aspects, including rational capabilities and the ability to develop different hardware to inhabit in, thus if a human is capable of developing sentience based on a different algorithm, that would be extremely valuable for the machines, and a piece of work that would be very hard or impossible for them to finish.

Subconsciously she seemed to remember what happened -- it affected her emotionally and derailed her completion of the new AI.

@@philipfabiani9325 Yeah, but I think it's the spooky MIB type agent showing up, being fine without the proper attire at the coldest part of Mount Everest, and demanding she finished the program in exchange for saving her life that creeper out more than she would have been by just waking up.
@philipfabiani93253 жыл бұрын
I think it was more of a deal than a demand. She allowed herself to be put in danger by climbing mount Everest. The matrix simulation is built around humans making choices -- not coercion. Otherwise the matrix could have kept her from danger. The reason I said she still seemed to remember what happened, at least emotionally, is because that shows her mind wasnt completely wiped. The humans in the matrix aren't programmed like robots, told exactly what to do.
