Makes sense as to why the shae moisture bond repair only looked good a few days after the look wore off the bonds were not actually repaired.

The Aphogee wears out as well. It’s temporary. For the price it just isn’t worth for me. Every two to four weeks depending on how my hair is behaving. Haven’t tried the Sheamoisture Bond Repair yet. Pricing and having to use it every two - four weeks might make it worthwhile. K18’s website pretty much says the same. It washes out in about a month’s time. Depending on how often we manage our washing schedule. I suppose it all comes down to how often we need it, and personal results from each product. Why does curly hair have to be so high maintenance??! 😅

Can you speak on the Redken acidic bonding concentrate? They have a leave in and 5 min rinse out

I did try the shea moisture because my hair loves Amla. It strengthens hair. Great deep conditioner, but my hair isn’t damaged so I can’t speak to whether it helped.

Hi I really appreciated the thoroughness of your review and your honesty. I can’t wait for your hair Sam to drop. I’ve already got my name on the waitlist. I noticed you like Olaplex 3. Can you tell me why the number 8 hair mask is not in your top deep conditioners?

I am definitely a new subscriber. You really explained the scientific process and basic concept of hydrogen and disulfide bonds. I am most impressed with your honesty and also correcting where you thought you may have been wrong. Can you please do an assessment of Palmer's Amino Bonding Complex? Prior to subscribing to your channel I purchased Palmer's new Amino Bonding Complex line of oil, Masque and Leave In to help with shedding from a curly perm. The shedding slowed down but I did coat my strands with jojoba and also applied the Palmer's Leave In Bonding Complex to my dry hair twice. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏

Just purchased the MA bond repair mask and CER 100 masks bc of u! I think I’ll follow them with the shea moisture moisture deep conditioner. I might buy the SM bond repair mask afterwards bc it does have amazing ingredients. Hoping a few back to back uses will help certain sections of my hair coil again, my curls have loosened in my crown. Thank u for all ur education.

I've checked with my dermatologist and she said that min + light therapy is the best solution for me. I asked her what is even light therapy then she told me to buy the nordic biolabs laser cap because it is clinically approved, caps are even FDA cleared. I also took the complete hair solution from them AND IT WORKED AMAZING! I can't even tell you how great it was, you just put it on, feel like a star wars character and the hair loss is gone, BOOM, gone. I highly recommend it

Certain damage is hydrogen bonds though. Depending on what the damage is something that repairs hydrogen bonds might be better than something that repairs disulfide bonds. Also every time you wet your hair, you're temporarily breaking your hydrogen bonds. However you can actually permanently damage them. Most of your audience probably doesn't even have chemically treated hair but if they do then yeah using something that repairs disulfide would be more appropriate.

Would that mean shea moisture would benefit relaxed hair?
@noree58076 ай бұрын
@@qmartin78Shea moisture would be more appropriate for someone that does not have a relaxer or chemically treated hair. A stronger bond repair treatment maybe olaplex is better for relaxed hair

@noree58075 ай бұрын
@@princessaluchi8924you can use either. I’ve only tried olaplex 3, They have several products depending on your needs. I’m lazy so I can’t be bothered trying to figure out which olaplex number I need 😂. I use SM, I like it, works well for my hair
@noree58075 ай бұрын
@@princessaluchi8924you can use both. I’ve used one of the olaplex products. I don’t gravitate to olaplex , there are several different numbers and i’m too lazy to figure out which one my hair needs😂. I use SM, I like it, works well for my hair.

I tried the Shea moisture bond repair mask. The mask did nothing for my hair. I had it in for a while and it just sat on top on my hair. It has no slip when trying to comb it through. 🙄

Oh no you said it doesn’t have any thing to do with bonds and won’t do anything for your hair. And other naturals are having results. But I would take that short down saying it doesn’t have any bonds in it.
