Yes just like cars and anything else people buy them on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their payments it gets REPOED.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly,
If you can't pay you can always voluntarily return the it.

Hi Josh, I agree with you 100% brother people need to take their own responsibilities stead of this whoa as me or poor me I paid my house off when I was 42 years old. I went through divorce etc etc. I still pull my finger out of my backside and did it. I work six days a week 60 to 70 hours a week but I own it today I’ve been in the house now for 32 yearsand they’re not taking me out only in a box

My concern is how you handled the American flag. As a retired navy veteran, the American flag should never touch the ground. You should have rolled it up and placed it on the picnic table. The proper way to store it, is to fold in a triangle so no red is exposed. Other than that mistake, I enjoy your channel

Oh, please, did you see ow ratty it was? How respectful is it to hang the flag on a shed you don't own. I'm sure its out there 24x7 which is not protocol either. This isn't the military so get over it. I was in the Army for 5 years - after I left I never looked back. I don't play dress up and I don't fly the flag like some patriotic phony who never served, doesn't pay taxes, and cheats other people all while talking God and Country. Like Josh here I'm sick and tired of all the phony patriotism.

If you’re going to fly the flag you have to do so respectfully. The homeowner should have retired that torn flag a long time ago and had it disposed of properly. Don’t forget that Josh was raised Amish. I don’t think proper flag etiquette was part of their education.

I totally agree with your assessment Josh, and it's not just sheds, the spectrum is huge for what people want to own, from houses and cars to electronics to who knows what that they can "buy" and then try to abscond with, personal responsibility is on the debtor to make payments or turn the item back to the lender, not the other way around

When my husband had hip replacement surgery we lived off $204 for two months then they stopped his sick pay and he had to start over again fortunately our house is paid for because there's no way we could made it if we still had a house payment by no fault of our own , sometimes things do happen and I know most people don't have sickpay or savings .

I only ever purchased anything on credit that I could not afford to pay cash for! I purchased a car, a home, and a 12 x 16 shed and paid cash for all of them. I was able to retire at 58 with a large nest egg. I do have a college degree and never invested in the stock market or 401K accounts. I worked hard and saved every penny. My credit rating is 860. I never defaulted on a single loan or was ever turned in for collection. I only have one credit card and never maxed out any card. People need to learn to live within their means!

Two things. Being a US citizen, It bothers me to see someone disrespect the flag by letting it get in such poor condition-that's on him. Now I got to zing you-When you took the flag down and leaned it up against the table, you let the flag touch the ground. You should never let the American flag touch the ground. At least with these rent to own buildings, you don't have the government changingthe contract in the middle of it as happened with Covid telling landlords they could not evict tenants fir slmost a year. Just ruined my property and left a mess as bad or worse than the worst junk left in one of the barns. I won't live long enough to recover that loss

Rent to own is a scam to some extent. But not as bad as payday loans. The folks that need those things really need to understand what they are getting into and how much it will actually cost them. When someone can’t pay but the contents of the shed is a bunch of stuff they don’t need, or that they could sell since they aren’t using it drives me crazy. I wonder how much they are spending per month to house items that aren’t that valuable? I can’t even make myself rent at a mini storage. I don’t have anything that valuable I guess. I do have a shed. A small one that was $399. It holds pool floats and pool toys. That was def worth the cost since we’re buying new toys and floats every year. The small shed has payed for itself. 😂

Car dealerships are very unethical , we bought a car first words out of my mouth no extended warrenties ! I hadn't bought a car in fifteen years the finance lady handed me a thumbdrive instead of paperwork get home put the thumbdrive in and see the finance girl copied and pasted yes we wanted seven thousand dollars in garbage extended warrenties. it took three months to get all that cancelled ! They have no morals so never let them hand you a thumb drive and then check your paperwork before you take that vehicle off the premises.
