The Heat drafted a seven footer Ke'lel Ware who can score and play defense. He'll eventually work his way into the starting lineup at the five. Bam moves to the four. The Heat can be dangerous.

@@GlttbaowwI think Kel’el would be able to start mid way through this upcoming season tbh. It’s not typical for a Miami rook to start but it’s logical having a unit like Bam and Kel’el start would just make them better in areas they struggle they’d become an even better defensive team, a better rebounding team, and on offense scoring in the paint, they’ve always been a great 3pt shooting team but Miami’s struggle was always paint defense and rebounding, giving up easy look’s because they rely on Bam guarding around the wing leaving the paint to Niko, Jaime or Jimmy (Which would become Kel’els responsibility) A lineup of Rozier, Butler, Jovic, Bam, Kel’el to me seems like the teams best option. They also truly play their best basketball when Tylers orchestrating the bench and now since that bench has gotten even better with Jaime, J Rich, Haywood, K Love I think they could make another run to the finals but that all requires luck and being able to stay healthy.

@JulberPajares4
@JulberPajares4 Ай бұрын
@@Wheelmahn No. Tyler is perfect in the PnR with his threat to score/shoot 3s/lob to Bam or Ware. Tylers playmaking takes the load off Jimmy. Jimmy at the SG also forces him to actually try to score and take the load off Tyler too. Also they can't double Jimmy if Tyler is on the court and vice versa. Jovic is the key if he can become an elite shooter on high volume while being the playmaker he can be as well. Tall lineup too.

Believe Bam best season was when they had A good center next to him or a great 4. Think when they had Kelly down there. Bam played very well and freely without having to do all work on Defense because Kelly was able to take some of those responsibilities off his back. Now with Warehouse down there now, Bam goin to have a career season once the young fella gets into the starting lineup
@__Ace___
@__Ace___ Ай бұрын
His breakout season was when they had Meyers Leonard starting and his best season was probably with PJ at the 4. Even though Bam was playing the 5 PJs drop coverage was amazing PJ basically played like a 5 stuck in a 6’4 body. You’re absolutely correct these previous lineups with Bam at the 5 have been horrendous, their drop coverage is terrible because they rely on smaller guys to cover the rim. Miami gives up too many easy looks once Bam is outside the paint and with Kel’el that problem goes away and year after year they hold their opposing team to a low 3pt% so pairing that with great rim protection could make this team deadly

Saying Jimmy is NOT a GOOD long range SHOOTER us simply NOT true. BEFORE coming to the HEAT Jimmy shot IN the MID 30s from 3, AND this past SEASON he SHOT 41.4% on 2.5 ATTEMPTS a GAME. Jimmy IS a GOOD 3 point SHOOTER. It IS just SOMETHING he does NOT like to DO.

Because he's not the focal point of their offense. If they're serious about Bam being the main man, he's a 25 ppg/10 rebound type of guy. The only limit of his offense is his 3 ball, but overall, he should be a big time scorer. He's just doing way too much. Spoelstra gotta free him up. But, that's not Spo's fault. They didn't have a proper big next to Bam. They have one now tho. Picture this, he's their main rebounder, he's their best perimeter and rim defender, and he's expected to be the top scorer as well? That's too much. That's where Ware comes in. If Ware becomes their main rebounder, and rim presence, Bam's scoring will bump up. Imagine a restructure post- Jimmy. Bam should be playing as a 4. If Jovic can hold the 3, and Ware does it at 5. That instantly lifts the rebounding and rim defense off Bam, allowing him to be a scorer. This guy has Giannis-like potential. Just off of skillsets. He's actually a little more versatile than Giannis, Giannis is just more dominant. Bam has another level to his game, he's just tasked to do way too much.

Bam isn’t a franchise player. Very nice player, does the dirty work that most superstars won’t. But he’s not a true franchise big man which is a problem for Miami since they don’t have any true franchise players (Butler too old now) and Herro has been held back.

Tell me what defines a franchise big? Is it Joel embid? A guy who can’t get past the second round as the “franchise” guy? Bam is a huge part of those Heat deep runs because even though Jimmy was doing the heavy lifting with points, bam was doing it with everything no one else wants to do, he’s is the franchise player and better than many other team’s franchise players.
