@@Saber23 Not quite.a 'Sunni' doesn't necessary follow Sunnism because it isn't one exclusive sect. It has many branches. Some good, some bad. Shiism is not a religion on its own. And not every Shia Muslim beliefs or acts the same. The concept of "Shiism" doesn't exist because it is not a separate religion. These are MUSLIMS who choose the side of Ali ibn Abi Talib when it comes to the first Fitnah. So no, being a Shia means you are a Muslim who chooses Ali and the Ahl al Bayt of the holy prophet (pbuh). Open a book.

We are discussing whether or not Umar bin Khattab committed that crime, so saying “may Allah have mercy on him” during this conversation doesn’t make much sense, don’t you think? The sources are very authentic according to the Shia belief and their standards of authenticity, and other parts of the event are found in authentic ’Sunni’ sources. Ibn Taymiyyah, for instance, admits that Abu Bakr ordered his men to break into Fatima’s house.
