Oh, I know. I raced through his book like a hungry dog chasing a moving bowl of meat. It was brilliant. He also seems so humble and genuine, which impresses me even more. I loved the acknowledgment at the end of the book, where he thanked everyone who helped him and encouraged him in his writing. I have only kind words for him, and I wish him all the best in his career.

it nice to hear that Alex pronounces 'Alicia' correctly unlike all the reviews I have seen! As an Alicia myself, I find it extremely irriating when people mispronounce my name and continue to do so after I have corrected them!! Oddly enough, Alicias and I surnames are very similar too!

One of the best books I've ever read. Its ending is one that will literally go down in history. Definitely did not see the ending coming. The book was so clever, original, captivating, and well-paced, I literally read it in one day (could not put it down). The writer is so humble, excited to see his future projects ❤️

I know you posted this video a year ago but I am wondering if The Maidens is just as sad as the Silent Patient? I heard an interview where you said TSP was a sad book. Although I was intrigued by the plot, loved the twist, and I like your writing style I’m reluctant to start another sad book. You do sad very well.

He is the Black Masked Man... The story is narrated non chronologically.. the drugs, the affair all the :personal characterization' is narrated non-chronologically (before the murder of Alicia) and it is made (written) to look like Theo is narrating all these in parallel with Alicia's story... But no!! The twist is that He Is The One Who breaks into the apartment and holds her husband responsible for infidelity, which 'kills' (psychically) Alicia and persuades her to shoot Gabriel

Hi.
