I was at Navarre Marine park May 18 on vacation and did not find shells like this. Where at Navarre are you finding such good shells?
@BeachBumminDad3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brenda, thanks for watching. Shelling on the Emerald Coast is random and sometimes it takes a lot of effort. Often I will drive 20 to 30 miles looking for shells, and then walk 5 to 10 miles plus searching for wrack lines and shell beds. Sometimes I'll scoop and other times I'll snorkel. Generally speaking one day you'll find shells and the next they're gone. Happy shelling.🌴😎

Where in Navarre? I went on my birthday thursday and didn't see any went down to last parking lot where they are building houses.

Hi Miss Deborah, this past week has been standard for shellin under tough conditions: when the red flags are flyin...the shells are shyin'. Strong winds from the south and high waves are not conducive for shelling. Hopefully the next time you're out the conditions will be better. Happy shelling.🌴😁

I agree! I was there on Wed and shells were scarce.

Why don't you use a red light since it's sea turtle nesting season?
@BeachBumminDad3 жыл бұрын
Hi Bri, thanks for watching and for the suggestion, however, the video was filmed over a month ago.

Have you seen any issues with red tide yet? Or heard any warnings?
@BeachBumminDad3 жыл бұрын
Hi Madi, nothing at the moment. Red tide is usually a SW FL event and since we've lived here it's only affected us one time. Happy shelling.🌴🤙🐚

Lived in FWB for 10 yrs and never went shelling. How deep are you? oh never mind looks like you are just walking

Thanks for watching. I have done some snorkeling and diving (Sanibel, Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach), however, I never go more than chest deep.🌴😎
