"Puzzle" is my top 5 Band-Maid song. It's a masterpiece. And the song structure and progression is very intentional if you read the lyrics. It's a girl's side of emotional feelings expressed; they guys has another girl. The girl's narration of her frustration of how she could not get through to him and honestly know what he was feeling, that is "Puzzle" - and get a true connection with him. So, the song, you can feel, the anger, frustration and building emotion. If you want to know the lyrics, the best place is google "kafkamusic lyrics band maid", it's an excellent blog for band maid lyrics - the person loves band maid. If you want to know, there is another version of "Puzzle" acoustic they played at their concert held in 2018 at Zepp Tokyo. That has very different feeling as it's an acoustic version, some people get teary eyed. That acoustic set has another song they played right after which is "Anemone", which is another brilliant ballad. Puzzle is one of their best. Try the MV for the song Blooming. It’s high energy from beginning to end with great drums and guitars and in my opinion it’s their best.

This Zepp venue is probably the best venue in terms of sound mixing. So good.

Sound Coast is just as good. Both are better than Line Cube Shibuya. Those room mics for the crowd just made it too ambient and unfocused. The great performances made up for it though.

Pretty accurate, though I think Studio Coast is slightly better. Both Zepp and Studio Coast concerts are stellar. You can hear every single instruments.

Since I first watched this, Puzzle has not only been in my top BM list but among the top live performances of all times, bar none. The catchy melody, the absolutely addictive driving guitar riffs, the build up to that solo, The solo itself, and how it blends right back into another buildup towards the end, the way it was filmed, the mix, everything was on point. The vocals, harmonies and the lyrics are also among the finest of BM. There’s that notion of something being just right and this live imo, nailed that “just right” to near perfection. I probably sound biased af but ever since I got hooked to them about 2 years back, I’ve never missed a day where I didn’t go through all their live stuff. And over time majority switched places in my favs as its only natural once you’ve heard it a couple thousand times. But Puzzle, for whatever reason, has NEVER dropped below top 5, infact its always remained in the top 20 of every other playlist I’ve included it in. This to me, is more ridiculous than a Guinness world record, coz I tend to burn myself out of 90% in just a few weeks and the remaining 10% in 2 months at most. My playlists are very diverse, not just in genres but in languages and I have this addiction of clicking every recommended video till youtube decides to dump me back to the first one 🤣, so there’s always enough ‘new’ ones to completely switch out a particular list in just a week. Forget about 2 years, there’s never been a single one that stayed in top 50 for more than 5-6 months. And that’s a lot considering I got into youtube for almost a decade now. I have zero musical background so I don’t know what kind of witchcraft Kanami cooked up with this one but this has got to be one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ milestones, even for her. Or was this just that destined one to finally rid me of my fickle choice in music? maybe And I’m well aware she is the farthest thing from a one-hit wonder, which is also why I always openly admit her as being among the greatest songwriters ever, as ridiculous as that might sound to most. If someone has done what no one has managed to do and by a mile at that, then they are the Greatest in my books. I could care less how young they are, where they’re from or if they’ve been inducted into some hall of fame. Then again, this might very well be a part of my embarrassing past in a few years once I know better but so far, I’m convinced! haha damn I don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore, oh well. *lol in self-resignation*

A song for Lead-guitar and vocals. You should compare with their acoustic version. More vocs, less guitar, but Kanami is singing the back vocals. She has also an amazing voice.

Time for some ballads! Daydreaming is awesome. I always think of U2 with that one. I also recommend their alter ego Band-Maiko. I guess they did it as a joke but the songs are NO joke! Gion Cho ismy fave and a different version of Secret My Lips.

Thanks for another awesome video! This is such a great song. The composition is insane with all the tempo changes etc. And yeah the whole song is basically a solo for Kanami (lead guitarist). It's crazy how she literally does not take a break. If you pay close attention it's the same in most of the other songs but there's usually lots going on so she might be in the background. For this one though, she's just right out in front the whole time. Idk how she can keep it up for the whole song, let alone a whole concert. Anyway thanks again for another awesome vid!

We know about fire here in Australia especially the southeast where fire fronts can be 1000km long. They burn for months and all you can do is try and stop them from burning down populated areas. Many of the people fighting them here are from the country fire service which means they are volunteers and go without personal income for up to 6months and this year COVID came as well. A lot of people are wracking up a lot of debt. Hopefully you live in a suburban setting and have plenty of water. Good luck. 🙏🙏👍

Lyricalwise this is in my opinion the best song... You have to look it up, it´s heartbreaking! From an musical standpoint, there are so many different solos, riffs, sections and so on... You could make 3-4 songs out of it! It´s brilliant... But it´s Band-Maid, they are always trying to make the best song possible, they have so many ideas, they don´t care about "saving something" for another song. Really confident and talented!
