Shepherds Pie with Beef

SHEPHERD’S PIE
1 pound ground beef
1 package brown gravy mix or jarred brown gravy
1 onion, finely chopped
1-2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
Cheddar cheese, shredded (to taste)
Mashed potatoes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with onions in skillet. Spray Pam cooking spray in a casserole dish. Cook brown gravy mix according to package directions. Mix ground beef, gravy and frozen vegetables together; pour into casserole dish. Spread until even in pan. Top with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Cook in oven until mashed potatoes are lightly brown and cheese is melted.
