I am so, so sorry to the family members who lost their loved ones...this is so tragic. I am praying for you all. Listening to this Sheriff speak I was so impressed with his compassion & humanity...he personalized the case when he mentioned we need to first & foremost bring our loved ones home.... unfortunately that was not to be the case but he showed great empathy towards this family when speaking.

I'm so thankful this sheriff and his team listened to the victim's family when they said something was wrong and got working on the case immediately. Time is always of the essence in cases like this. It's gut wrenching that things didn't have a positive outcome. My sincerest condolences to the family. 🙏 I must admit I am curious as to what happened. It certainly seems like it was personal since the victims' family knew the suspect. I just hope they catch everyone involved.

So, they were dead pretty soon after they were kidnapped. Sad. I hope he either gets death penalty (if available), or he lives every day in prison NOT able to get out of this by attempting again suicide. He needs to pay dearly ALIVE and lives every day staring at a beautiful portrait of that family just within arms reach outside his prison cell. So, they owed him money? Take them to court. He had NO RIGHT to play God.

Why didn't they put up any kind of a fight? Why didn't the woman run within those 6 minutes to get help? Two men against one & they just allowed this man to take full control. At one point one of the victims was even using his phone...he could have quickly texted someone to call 911...not victim blaming but they could have fought vs just allowing this to occur without trying to escape or get help. There was a highway right there...just flag someone down

@@Cxn213 could be that the men did not put up a fight knowing that the lady and kid are safe and take that evil man further away, not knowing that there was an accomplice involved. The woman with child had six minutes to escape but probably was still hiding not knowing what happened with the men outside. Phones could have been taken away them and so comm7nication cut off. Fighting back at that time may have spoilt their chances of negotiating their own release later or potential escape from captivity. Gesturing to passing fast highway traffic would have been challenging with their hands tied up. But, you are right, in retrospect they could have put up a fight before they got into the truck. Praying this situation doesn't happen again to anyone.

Hindsight: hide the baby, release the dog, then hide in the yard. Also, whose god watched that baby die of exposure? The one who's going to help the sheriff find the second criminal? So, he hasn't even determined if there is another offender, just a hunch for now. If you would have all done your jobs in the first place this wouldn't have happened.
