Sherpa's face very quickly went from "I'm trying to ignore you for taking me to the vet" to "Really? I get the whole thing, right?" to "Ok, I'm fine with the smaller piece...." I think we all need to also remember, the occasional sausage roll is very good for Sherpa's mental health! 😁🤣

I just love how he's vocal! My family rescued a female husky/Labrador retriever mix. Her name is Pepper and her colors are the same as Sherpa's. She's 2 1/2yrs old, full of life! We just love her!

There were 2 things that really helped our elderly german shepherd was fish oil supplements and evening primrose oil supplements. As she aged she got arthritis and her hair started thinning. She was slowing down so much and had a hard time getting up and down stairs etc. Once she started those 2 supplements she was moving so much better and seemed a lot happier when playing or walking. She lived to 5 days before her 15th birthday, which is really quite good for a pure shepherd. She had the fish and evening primrose oils for the last 8 years of her life and I'm convinced if she hadn't had them, she wouldn't have kept the exercise up as well as she did and that it lead to a longer life with a better quality of life. We only let her go when she suddenly wouldn't even get out of bed for a week, the vet then said her quality of life was gone and it was cruel to keep her going just to live bedridden. I keep Sherps in my thoughts for his continued good health and vitality. The home you've gotten him is sure to increase his quality of life for, hopefully, many years to come! Much love!❤❤

I said out loud, "aw he is a beautiful boy" and my own beautiful boy heard me and came running into the kitchen for ear scratches and cuddles like he always does when I say "beautiful boy" because he knows he is my beautiful boy 😆I didn't tell him I was talking about another boy and gave him the cuddles and scratches as he rightly deserves 😄We would do anything for our boys and girls (I have a beautiful girl also who is my boy's biological sister) Did I say "beautiful boy" enough ? 🤣
