headers on this car are a HUGE pita to install and remove, and yes they will void your engine warranty. i'm going with these pipes because the stock ones are really quiet, huge difference compared to the headers. these pipes are 10000x easier to install than headers and give you about 90% of the sound

looking forward to hearing it at Mustangs at Daytona! if I mod my exhaust, I will make sure I do the cat deletes prior to deleting the resonator. only reason I would still delete the resonator is for weight savings

I’ve had all the different cat deletes for this car by every company and they all break. Shift teck being the absolute worst. Hopefully you have better luck. There’s no replacement for a good quality header. If you’re worried about a tune leave it alone and don’t modify it. Even with these bungs it’s a matter of time till you get a check engine light. The only remedy that somewhat works is using steel wool and stuffing it inside the O2 spacer before you put the O2 in. Best of luck.

Is it still too loud even with the valves closed? I’m just concerned with the cold starts and leaving the block with the neighbors lol Probably throwing in an H-pipe would tone down the raspiness

I will say that after the cat delete had broken in, the volume and rasp went down a lot. Originally I was debating on removing them and putting the factory cats back in but after a week it seem to tone down much more. The come starts with the valves closed are much louder compared to stock but I wouldn’t say it’s anything crazy either. From inside my home I can hear it start up, but I can’t imagine it’s something that would wake me up either

I took my shiftech off road midpipes off the day after i had them installed haha, was too raspy for me and didn't sound good imo. So I ordered ARH Catted and Resonator LTH

It’s super raspy after install! Once the pipes break in though it gives it a much more OEM sound. Basically after a week of having them with it broken it, it sounds like the stock exhaust just with noise lol

@@genomontes211 when I’m at a stop light it can be over bearing. Once I get moving then it goes away. But anything that involves me just sitting idling can be a bit too much

You don’t need one per say but it will help. Without it you may have a check engine light as well
