@@wake6000 It's not directly stated, but it's shown on more then one occasion. Deku, wants to be a hero in spite of being quirkless, his best friend proceeds to bully him to the point of trying to get him to off himself for over a decade. Gentle, tries to help someone he sees falling, the hero then proceeds to ruin his life, relationship with his parents, and future so he ends up as a villain. Dabi, also wants to be a hero, and isn't allowed to even train with his quirk in the slightest when endeavor of all people could've tried for some support equipment, and then throws him to the damn wayside the moment shoto is born, and later triggers the ice quirk he always had but was replaced for himself. Tenko Shimura, gets beaten within an inch of his life for daring to want to be a hero, and then his father attempted to fucking murder him when his quirk activated, (granted it did kill his sister and mom, but still trying to beat your obviously distraught son to death isn't the way to go) and then after the fact was looking like he just got out of a week in the Somme and passed over by dozens if not hundreds of people who figured "oh a hero will deal with this".

Heroes and society failed them. Some seem to have learned, and may offer them the help these broken people need to get better. Help that last villains didn’t get. For evil to prosper, it takes good people standing by and doing nothing. This may have just been the case of showing another Shiguraki could’ve happened. But after all the strife everyone went through, it seems some of society learned that those broken people that would become villains, need help. They need a guiding, gentle hand to help them heal. That’s what all the villains among Shigraki needed. And where are they? All dead, and likely will be hated and remembered by most as monsters that deserved fates worse than death. But here, we see a change where a new wave of would-be villains get the help their predecessors desperately needed.

This scene perfectly encapsulates the themes and message of the story, that anyone can be a hero regardless of who you are, that you only need compassion, empathy and kindness to change the life of others and that what it seems to be a small act of kindness may have ripples that change the world. The kid is indeed a Tomura analog, he is foreshadow as the next big villan having a similar backstory as Tomura. However a crucial moment changes his story, instead of being left alone, helpless, he is 'rescued' by a granny passing by and thus this simple act of kindness implies the kid won't be the next Tomura, because this time the small, hurt boy who needed the most help really received it thus changing not only hisnlife, but the course of history.

I love the symbolic nature, there are several people that we could have done better by in life. We fell short and that's okay. With time and maturity, we can correct our wrongs and do better the next time the opportunity arises to be a good person. I hope everyone reading this becomes another's smile or happiness from the most simple of gestures Stay blessed and stay prosperous guys ❤

No. That ending was to show the audience that you don’t need superpowers to be stop the villain of the story. A human heart is good enough.

The real heroes are those who show kindness in daily life and prevent people from becoming villains in the first place, because unlike the heros who fight them, they are also able to save the villain

No….if he was alive and locked up by his family during the final battle he can’t be Shiguraki reincarnated. Reincarnation implies someone being reborn he’s simply the next potential Shiguraki if he kept going down this path.

A little kindness goes a long way. You can save a life so let's learn from this.

I think of this as more of a sort of "redemption" for deku than anything else, in the dark deku arc his biggest regret was to not have been able to encounter shigakari earlier and being able to "fix him" so instead this new "shigaraki" can be helped by deku instead.

He is basically a parallelism with Shigaraki, its not a if scenario, it's simply expose that anyone can become like Shigaraki and that a small show of empathy coupd prevent it.

Granny didn’t ignore Shigaraki, she ignored Tenko. They are two distinct psyches and personalities, and Tomura didn’t exist yet.

He wasnt a reincarnation (he was alive the same time as shigiraki) but it shows that shigaraki's messege of "people wont help cause they take for granted that heroes always will" did sink in and society was changing for the better.

In a society where everyone believes in one pillar, one person and one group They do not feel they need to do anything "the heroes will take care of it" After the arc, society now shifts towards "we all need to help", "we must take care of it"
