Hi, all the settings installed by the Flash software are reversible: you can switch back to the original setting whenever you want without leaving any trace. Afterwards, you can unlock the same motor again as many times as you want for free.

Three questions: 1 - Is the cable adapter really needed even if I have EW-SD300 cable directly from the PCE02? 2- Why is this Video different from the manual on the website? The manual says to disconnect all cables from the motor including the battery. Is this no longer needed? 3 - The manual says to connect the bike with E-Tube project after flash and then disconnect again. Is this no longer needed and why was that needed?

Hello, @weenan If you have the small connector on the SM - PCE02 cable you don't need the adapter. Yes, there are differences between the manual and the video because we are working on a new version, but as you can see in the description there are the same instructions. they say ep801 not compatible and wont sell it. and said version 2.2 was last update that worked.

Hi @johnwinford3138 , The Flash is currently compatible with firmware version 4.2.2 of EP801: this version is needed in order to unlock the bike with Flash yourself. Compatibility with version 4.3.0 will be available as soon as possible: you can check compatibility on out website. At the moment, we are available to unlock motors with firmware version 4.3.0 remotely via online sessions.
