Recently noticed that I can hear my gears grinding a bit what grease would you recommend?

Not necessary to take apart and grease the gears and oil the spindle as well? Otherwise very informative tutorial....

Nope, not for basic yearly maintenance. If the reel has been submerged in water, or something has happened to compromise the grease applied at the factory, then taking the body apart and re-greasing the gears is needed. Otherwise you don't need to.

You ever have problems with the bail not closing and making plastic gear slipping noises? Like every 5th cast?
