Such a great video! I've been learning English, and languages in general, for ages, but some words which you give us in your videos are a breath of fresh air for me. So, I have to admit that my vocabulary is really poor. Or you're just the second to none teacher on KZbin.

"A breath of fresh" is a great idiom that will be in my new video on the 1st of September! Thanks for such a nice complement!! 🤪

"Obnoxious" is other negative adjectives to describe people's personality, it means really unpleasant person. For instance: He'll never change; he'll always be a nasty, obnoxios, bad-tempered, little man! This is my little contribution

I've just heard this adj. in the fifth season of the series "How I met your mother" (episode 11). Robin says to her colleague "You're a lazy obnoxious loser". 😉

*I know this question is not related with the video but can you give me an opinion on my exam results?* I got an A overall at the Advanced level. My results were all over the place: Reading: 204/210 (A); Use of English: 210/210 (A); Writing: 180/210 (C); Listening 196/210 (B); Speaking: 210/210 (A) I got bare mininum to pass in Writing which made me gutted because I got nearly perfect scores during the whole year at Cambridge School and only colleagues of mine with C overall got the same grade as me. I remember using some good advanced vocabulary, inversions, conditionals and other advanced elements. Do you think it's worth asking for a remark? I don't they it will be lowered, because the writing mark is so low already, bur remarks are always risky.

Hello Carolina! Is it about the Proficiency or CAE exam? So, what's your final grade? You could do a request inquiry. I leave this post in case it helps: blairexamenglish.com/cae/general/what-you-can-do-when-you-have-failed-your-cae-exam

@@englishbits It's about the CAE exam. I got A as final grade (200/210) overall. I practiced writing so much and I was usually scored band 5 in Writing with my teacher. butt I got C in Writing unfortunately and I felt like I deserved more points. That does not make me very confident to go for Proficiency since Writing is much harder at that level. :(

Are you an acquisitive person or a minimalist?

English Bits I am the latter. ¿Qué significa? Ni consumista, ni minimalista.

I'm the latter - the second option, which would be a minimalist.

@@englishbits I'm also the latter! I think that the real beauty of life lies in the ability to relish simple moments, surrounded by people we love, rather than in the necessity of possessing a great number of lavish things, just to stand out.
