Wow! I thought the station they used in "Thomas & the Magic Railroad" was in Strasburg, PA. Guess they only used that area to film the STS locomotive, "Rainbow Sun".

@penninefilms no, i don't recall ever seeing the outside of the station on the show, all we saw was the interior which was a set in New York, and eventually Toronto. I think they only used this station for the exterior of Shining Time in the 2000 film

i miss the show shinning time station but i like the original theme not the one form the movie.their both good but the original will always be the best,awesome fine.i would so die if i got to go and see the station that one of my most favorite shows when i was little growing up was based on

@penninefilms they didn't use an Isle of Man steam locomotive because in the film, the station is supposed to be in Pennsylvania
