Shiny Sprigatito in Pokemon Scarlet after 1,925 full odds eggs

Not quite my first shiny in Gen 9, that was Drifloon. I decided to test how quick these eggs were, didn't know if I wanted to commit to the hunt. Spoiler, they're very quick. Getting the eggs is a little bit weird in this game using the picnic.
I really like these starters a lot. They're among the best in recent generations imo.
It's a shame the game is performing how it is but it's still a lot of fun. Hopefully they can at least do something about the framerate with a patch.

This is the best method I found for eggs. 1. Go to Alfornada 2. There's a restaurant with Egg Power 2. 3. Eat the meal and then go set up a picnic 4. Hoard a few boxes of eggs 5. Flame Body Pokemon in your party lead 4. Eat the meal again 5. Hatch eggs 6. Go until shiny It's probably best you have 1 titan defeated (Klawf) for the boost to your ride Pokemon. I was doing 600-700 a day, pretty intense. You can also get a recipe for it after 1 badge but I find the restaurant to be quicker. Making a sandwich every 30 minutes gets old. Hopefully this helps you. It might change in the future with more information.

Why do you eat the meal again before hatching eggs? Does it make them hatch faster?

Egg Power generates and hatches egg faster.

Congrats on the shiny grass cat. :) Very simple palette change, but still very pretty. The methods in these games are super confusing for me, so it's probably going to take me a bit before I dive into egg hunts. Still not sure how I feel about the changes, but I'll hopefully get used to them.

I just started playing this game reluctantly after watching a before you buy and about an hour game play of the game skipping through. This game is a whole lot better than I was expecting it to be. Like honestly video of the game doesn't do it justice. Although I have to say for certainty, Pokémon violets Bike Pokémon counterpart is far superior in looks than Scarlets. I'm glad I picked up violet, seems like everyone I know got scarlet! Great shiny. I looked up the mechanics for shiny hunting in this game and I'm impressed and glad that they made it much more reasonable and difficult than the unreasonably easy shiny hunting in sword and shield

I got mine in around 250 eggs with Masuda + shiny charm. Meowskarada’s shiny is really subtle but it still looks great imo

This leads me into thinking i really had a shiny sprigatito in my first playthrough (despite supposedly being shiny locked). The eyes didn't look pink but purple. When i started a new save, they were definitely a different color and was a normal pink.

Nice, I've not tried egg farming yet, but I've found 2 shinies in the wild and got 1 from a raid, although I'm not sure if the shiny rates are different or if it's just down to the sheer volume of pokemon in the open world

NICE! I wish I had your perseverance.. it’s been years since I did anything but full odds hunt but I think I’m gonna masuda my starter.. I tried full odds eggs but it is torture I just despise egg hunting but I full odds almost my whole team other than that already .. I just want them to stop shiny locking my starter there is absolutely NO reason. My biggest thing is having to release them one by one.. otherwise I’d totally full odds eggs

Did you find a recipe for an egg power 2 sandwich? My fuecoco eggs are being bred pretty slowly with egg power 1 and it's been difficult to find recipes online

If you go to Alfornada, there's a restaurant with Egg Power 2. There's also a recipe from sandwich shops after 1 badge. I find the restaurant easier and quicker even though it's more expensive. Money is very easy to come across in these games.

fps is usually a deal breaker for me. I've been spoiled with 144hz for a long time now. You get used to it. It is bad though, no denying it. It's a very fun game underneath it. I really hope they're able to patch it to improve it soon.

I do like these games, but I really don’t like the leveling. I would face Nemona with like level 20s right before a gym, and the gym leader has level 35+ I just really don’t like that, same with what level pokemon will obey you
