Nobody really masters sets anymore but youtubers. It's completely pointless to collect all the uncommons and Commons and reverse holos and stuff. Doesn't even really add much value when you go to sell it either.

Kind of annoyed about the repeat shiny cards coming out. We got shiny Noibat and shiny Noivern cards in hidden fates. Same with the Charizard line. Wish they would have done a few new shiny pokemon this time around.

Yeah, same here. It's a great reprint set for players, but any collector is just going to look at this set and pass. Instead they will just buy the singles that they want to collect. There's just not enough meat on the bone for new cards in a box. Hopefully english rates are better

It seems that pull rates are actually pretty bad this time around. Only 2/129 baby shiny? 1/23 full art shiny, and 0/9 sir. So it will take you over 65 booster boxes to complete the baby shiny, 23 boxes for just the full arts, and who knows how many for all 9 sir.

Yeah exactly how I felt with the amount of IR's in Paradox rift. You only get 3 per booster box, and there are like 30+ of them. At the end of opening 6 boxes, I only got 11 unique IR's due to so many double ups.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but I strongly disagree with you. Of course, maybe we're in different situations. At the moment, I like the set less the V star universe and V max climax (previous high class packs). However, I think this set is more exciting than many standard sets. First off, it has Shiny SAR cards (including gardevoir and mew, my favorites) Second, it's reprinting a lot of competitive cards. Third, it has very good pull rates. I think 151 is potentially a more exciting set, but for example, triplet beat... absolutely not. Having said all that, I am disappointed that there are only 4 ar cards and 8 SAR cards. I love AR cards! Even so, I consider this an exciting set with so e must have cards.

Definitely the worst set so far. All of S/V has had plenty of beautiful ir and sir, tons of full arts, and you get multiple big hits a box. Most of this set is comprised of generic blank background baby shinies and full art ex. 3(4jp) art rares, 5 full art trainers, and 8 sir. The art rares this set are lackluster, leaving us with just the 8 sir to really push the set. While I love the sir so far, aside from being shiny, they are just as good as previous s/v sets, but without the art rare chases. No idea why they can't just make less baby shinies and give them real artwork just like art rares.

And I'm not talking about other sv sets even tho I think base an obsidian are very mid sets. Plus this has nothing to do with older sets does it? But this is almost a carbon copy of shining fates and it sucked too. The only cool thing about this set like I said are the SIRs and golds. The ARs are ok but the pokemon picked aren't great. Plus tbh honest the holo boarder on the babies make them look cheap to me. That's my opinion but hey you know what they say about opinions 🤷

The old sets matter because you guys just take what we have for granted and want more and more every single set and just think every card should be an illustration rare now. So I'm guessing you don't like your hidden fates master set?? It's a ton of basic full art shinies and a ton of baby shinies. Also, if you think this is a copy of shining fates, that proves you don't know what you're talking about. We're getting 3 sir shiny pokemon including the 3 most popular pokemon on the planet, 3 gen 9 illustration rares, and there actually making them Rare and hard to pull so they will hold value unlike anything in Shining fates, were getting 5 sir trainers, 6 brand new gold cards of all the legendary pokemon and so many amazing gen 1 pokemon in this set. Go compare baby shinies and gold cards from each set. Half of these aren't even revealed, and it already beats shining fates besides suicune. It was basically all gen 8 pokemon. My point is that this set is honestly 10 times better than shining fates. Did we get every single thing that we wanted?? No, but it's honestly pretty close and they literally did 2 new things for this set. Shiny illustration rares and brand new golds.
