Absolutely MARVELOUS breakdown of doing dutch fishtail braids, but can you PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE do it on your own hair?? I feel like it's EXCELLENT to be able to watch exactly what you're doing on the wig, but it would be even BETTER with a follow up on how you'd do it on yourself!

I did it on my own hair and it wasn’t to hard u just need strong arms it’s a workout to braid hair if u know how to do a regular Dutch braid it’s not to hard I have thick hair and curly only way I could do it was right after I wash it
@NeSsA0aLani3 жыл бұрын
listen I had to rewind the beginning instructions three times before I understood to try and do it to myself 🤣

It looks hard
@alice..charli21713 жыл бұрын
Be easier if you try it on your front chunks of hair and tie up the back the just practice on the chunk you left out in the front

My husband’s hair is long on top so I always braid it for him in double or triple Dutch braids. I think I will try this new variation next time. You explain it very well and make it look so easy! I think for me the hardest part for me will be the muscle memory of holding 3 strands 😬

I just wanna say...braiding someone else’s hair is always WAY easier then braiding ur own hair cuz ur arms don’t get as tired and you can see the whole back of the head. But they always say ur hurting their hair like, if you agree.🙄

Does anyone know how long it takes normally? I know the video is about 10 minutes, but I know regular fishtails are time consuming, so is this much different in anyone's experience?
@elinebunthof46903 жыл бұрын
I seem to take 20 minutes for each braid but thats also because I haven't done this look a lot and I do it on myself.

"grab a small section of the top strand" "cross the new strand of hair"....I am so lost lol. I feel like this should be easy to follow but she says the same thing over and over for 10 minutes so it is very hard to differentiate between steps.
@kellyhiggins42343 жыл бұрын
She says it over in over so you and all who are watching comprehend to do what ? To "Grab" a sm piece of the bottom hair and put it on top of the right strand then grab a sm strand from the bottom and bring it on top of the left continue process all the way to the end. Almost in all tutorials the instructor will tell you to say it as your doing it to help you pass time as your moving along. Have you done one yet? Its not as easy as it looks but you get the hang of it if you keep practicing. What stinks in my case is I have no patience it takes a long time to go from top of our heads so when I get near my ear i begin just braiding it still looks great . I don't have the time it really looks great . Best of luck . My hands cramp too! It isn't easy trying to look cute . 😊🙏🏻😊
