Shion Solo the Holy Knights & Hinata vs Rimuru, New Armor!! | Tensura Explained

Now that war has finally come to the Tempest Federation once again and with the recent episode 8 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, we see the Holy Knights are still engaging with Shion’s Yomigaeri along with Rimuru finally facing off against Hinata Sakaguchi. However, there are some details and conversation regarding the various fights that were unfortunately removed from the episode so I will be discussing about those in today’s video as well as providing some insight on the sequences we see in the anime.

Hinata's backstory was waaay back in volume 4 if I remember correctly but the manga didn't show it until chapter 94 and I believe that the anime will do the same, they even showed a glimpse of it in the opening and we'll probably see it in episode 11👍🏻

I don't believe that Faust works quite like that... It is an analysis skill (similar to Raphael but without the personality etc) that focusses on probability. Given enough evidence it would certainly help discern what happened, but it isn't omniscient. It's "all of creation" sub skill still requires sufficient knowledge to fill in the gaps I believe 🤔

@@shaunmcdonough7844 All of Creation only allowed to instantly comprehend any unconcealed phenomenon that would otherwise require a lifetime to process. Pursuit of Truth allows Veldora to access the World's records and arrive at the ultimate truth.

@@jerbylumbang1777 And unless you haven't been paying attention, both require sufficient initial knowledge to work off. I am less sure with pursuit of truth as it is basically never shown in action. But it seems reasonable to assume it works like all of creation. Spoiler: A great example of this is Veldora and Rimuru in how they still have to do research to discover new things in the dungeon labs etc. They don't just instantly know everything about what they are looking into. 🤷‍♂️

People calling rimuru weak are forgetting that Rimuru's power spike has just started, true demon lord was his first "major" stepping stone. Also, Hinata IS VERY STRONG. This is the whole reason why a chosen hero like Granbell wanted her dead, she was too powerful to be manipulated and controlled, which by the way was the exact thing they did to Adalmann, he was growing powerful and the seven luminaries were worried that he would soon surpass them..so they led him to his death. Ofcourse she probably is not even in the top 30-35 when it comes to strongest ranking by the end, but currently she is among the most dangerous beings that we have seen to display their powers.

@@AnimeRumpai i think the show has shown rimuru to have such hax abilities so far, that people just expect him to devour every opponent. They just don't realize that even as true demon lord, there is a difference in powerlevel. Heck in the current octagram, Rimuru isn't even among top 5. Guy, Milim, Dagruel and Dino straight up beat him. Luminous, Leon and Rimuru are on a similar level but luminous and leon are experienced and powerful demon lords, if they decide to fight, right now there is no way to precisely tell who wins or who loses. Right now Rimuru is definitively stronger than ONLY Ramiris that too in her current form, prime ramiris stands with Guy and Milim lol.

I thought it was a good episode. the last segment was great! from where he looks like Shizu till the donut. Best fight in Tensura so far. I'd put it up against some fights from more battle oriented anime. I thnk the flashback will be after this weeks episode.

Real question is why he didn’t just use his ultimate skill to eat her at the start I mean she doesn’t have one so what could she do about it the only reason is that rimuru is stupidly cautious and Raphael was scheming but is seem a bit too stupid to me

Well: 1. He doesn't want to kill her. 2. Rimuru doesnt like revealing his strongest skills if he can avoid it as he likes having Trump cards. 3. Against a resisting enemy that is strong emough it is not omnipotent. He could get her with it eventually, but Hinata would not just sit there and take it.

@@josephrogers3666 to consume a target as strong as Hinata when she is resisting and not kill her is not an easy feat. To eat her and not kill her he would need to do it in one go. Unless he gets some amazing set up I just can't see that happening. Remember how Clayman was devoured? He was weaker than Hinata and had basically lost the will to fight, and yet it still couldnt eat him in one chunk and instead broke him down piece by piece.
