So satisfying I have a S10 blazer stock 350 and 5 speed they are pretty quick easy 90 mph in third gear and 3.42 rear gear blasting through traffic I'm always messing with people running a quite exhaust they never expect it

Let me tell you little trick when I built my 383 S10 we did frame off 5speed just like yours but a trick we did with front suspension we took v8 Camaro front coil springs and put it under the front of the S10 and man let me tell you the difference in handling and driveability freaking awesome

​@Ak_Strem 🤔 Was thinking caltracs. Are you going to add another leaf spring? Rear sway bar? Not going to stop wheel hop. This s10 is roaring to life again with that sbc. Some ladder bars/caltracs and a 150 shot of NOS this baby would be runing 10s 1/4. Every one wants to LS swap the world , but not everyone wants to dial in a tune on everything they build. Great Job

This is so sweet, good to see. Get a slapper bar and put a fan shroud on it! It'll allow the fan to actually pull air through the rad instead of around it

Yea the bearings are stamped 010, that means that they are over sized Bettye crank is cut down and you have to make up for that distance and the only way to do it is OVERSIZED BEARINGS

Problems I’m seeing. Did you check ring end gap? Ring ends butting together will blow a piston apart. Oil pump to pan clearance too ouch or too little causes oiling issues. Following up to your Tik Tok vid where she blew.

What kind of rad are you running currently? I have a mild 355 in a 2wd 5 speed 1990 model I couldn’t keep cool. Purchased a 3 row aluminum rad from amazing still have to instal and try.
