Isn't the "Take a Chance on Me" demo starting at 5:17 simply fabulous?! 🤩 Quite different structure compared to the final song but not less catchy 😎

They have also released a track showing the development of 'Like an angel passing through my room', where you really get an insight into all the creativity and stylistic experiements that went into creating one single song. The track is called 'From a Twinkling Star to a Passing Angel' and it ends with a demo of 'Like an angel passing through my room'. There are so many beautiful passages in the process towards the final song, and it's really worth a listen.

I would recommend listening to the Jerry Williams version of Rikky Rock n Roller as well. He perfected their original version

These are their scratch paper recorded to audio. Some parts can even heard their final recordings (at least instruments used).

Rikky Rock n Roller is my favourite here and harks back to the Waterloo Glam Rock era.

I have always been in two minds about releasing demos and abandoned material. For the fans, it's an interesting journey in listening to the process of unfiltered composing, improvising and recording in the studio. On the other hand, does an artist really want to present to the public stuff they really didn't think good enough? Hey guys, here's our second rate stuff! Perhaps when you do have a level of success, you don't quibble about exposing the flaws. Whilst it was good to hear stuff like Just A Notion(before it was remade) and Just Like That, I saw no real benefit to hearing the other stuff which meandered a lot of the time. I could happily live without ever having heard it if i had to make the choice. Others will disagree, though.
