i would enjoy the low top model 2 if 1) they had leather and or suede and 2) no bubble on the back. IF they do more colorways maybe or a leather version and a big thing is what the price point will be especially with it not being leather i cant justify $200 for a model regardless of fear of god name. AE1 is amazing and affordable they better come correct

I took a “L” on the Shock Drop but I’m not tripping because my 2018 BC3’s are still clean. I will go for them on the 23rd for the double up though.

Thank you for your content TJ. I copped a size 9 on the black cement three shock drop. I have a pair of dead stock 2018 black cement. With that said I may return the 2024. I don’t need two pairs. Have a great weekend.

New Balance has definitely been my shoe of the year. Glad that their coming back. Has been a go since 2001 for me. I am over JB! The shoes I do purchase when it comes to J's are those I never got and still I'm being selective

Do shock drops normally happen in the SNKRS or NiKe app?

On snkrs. Very rarely are they on the actual app. I've only ever had it happen once for me on Nike and it was on desktop for whatever reason many years ago, plus it was exclusive access.

I got the fog runner from adidas months back for full price. At the time due to special rules they did not allow in store try on of items. I bought it took it home it was too big I kept it anyway liked it months later sold it for half cause of the size. The following week I purchased the same pair again in the proper size in the clay color for half the price. Moral, they have to do something about the pricing and maybe the marketing

Their pricing put them in a terrible position from the start and sadly they don't look to have changed their approach with another $250 basketball model. Hate to see it but we'll see what happens when it rolls out. I suspect it hits the sale racks relatively early bc $250 for a shoe that isn't a running super shoe likely isn't going to fly.

The crazy thing Jerry has great products...its just his pricing hurts him, he claim the FOG 2 will be cheaper but if ain't under 200...this will be another fail for him I believe

I agree the strap is not it for me. I think if it is a sock fit at the top without the strap then it’s a maybe on the FOG II.

You know adidas has done this twice now where they drop a model from the iiinfinity series around the same time they’re set to drop an athletics basketball model and both times it feels like the iiinfinity steals a lot of the focus/traction

I believe Jerry Lorenzo and Fear of God, more than most other designers and brands, are struggling to adapt to the evolving market. Fear of God’s visibility makes these challenges more apparent. Considering everything, I see the new collegiate branding as a strategic trial for Jerry to extend Essentials permanently into the collegiate market. This conclusion stems from the new price points, the sales slump in Fear of God Athletics and Mainline collections, and reports suggesting the Fear of God x Adidas partnership may be ending soon. Together, these factors suggest Jerry is hedging his bets to position Fear of God ahead of, or at least insulated from, the turbulence he anticipates in the market.

Not saying it was easy at first to pull back, it wasn't and when you create content that is sneaker centered people expect you to just buy every shoe that drops as well so you have to use a lot of discernment and willpower to not buy if you want to make a change. Don't feel bad, there is a lot more psychology that goes into our buying behavior that makes it tough to stop.
