Out of the six films I always enjoyed strange confessions. I just wish it was a little longer to fix a couple of errors with the films timeline

Interesting. That one wasn't part of the Shock package so I didn't rewatch it. I'll have to get the set out and give it a watch

J. Carrol Naish! He is Charlie Chan in the British series, The Adventures of Charlie Chan, which I most highly recommend. Another movie Dr. Gangrene, I have not seen. I am coming away from this year's list with a a treasure trove of yet undiscovered gems. In my opinion, Lon Chaney Jr, is a tragically overlooked actor, because he was typecast as the Wolfman. He is a great actor, particularly in his skill at portraying emotional pain and confusion.

I liked J. Carroll Naish in this role for sure. And completely agree on Chaney.
