I was there at the Capital Center in Largo, Maryland. It has been demolished, and a plaza has been pit in its place. AC/DC, Aerosmith, WASP and so on. But in 86 was the Monsters of Rock at RFK Stadium in DC. Van Hagar😊, Kingdom Come, and 2 others, but the big one was Matellica 😮

Angus Young (lead guitar) is nothing short of legendary! I saw them play in Houston in 2016 & I saw him do things on stage that no 60 year old has a right to be doing! One of the final numbers included him doing what I swear was at LEAST a 15 minute guitar solo. Running from one end of the stage to the other. Now on his back. Now climbing all over the amplifiers. And every time you thought he was winding down he ramped it up again! Unbelievable! Not to mention that I've never experienced anything like the raw energy (band+crowd) of that concert. Even my wife who's not that big an AC/DC fan was on her feet rocking out the whole time.

I went to the Black Ice concert in austin, and it was high energy there too. As high energy as this video is, it was even higher than this, by miles. They just right out rigged a train prop to pair with their video to just straightup bust out of a fake screen so it looked like that a train literally bust through the wall. AC/DC has always been about high energy, and intensity, and that's precisely why they picked the name AC/DC. Based on the story, there was a vaccum cleaner named AC, so they put that together with DC, and began writing and playing songs after Angus and Malcom were inspired by rolling stones concerts. They went through a lot of people before finally getting Bon scott, who, as stories tell it, was so sick and tired of the pitiful singers, he excused himself from being a stagehand to sing for them. He wasn't suppose to, but he did it anyway, and brian had history with australia's Velvet Underground (not to be confused with the american version)

It is a school uniform that Angus is wearing. When they started Angus was at school & didn't know what to wear for the stage. So his sister told him to wear his school uniform. And the legend of the "Demented Schoolboy" was born. Peace out.

I seen them live in 2001 in Tasmania, Australia for their Stiff Upper Lip tour and they are the absolute best rock band to see live as Angus (the lead guitarist who does the duck walk dance) never stops moving the whole concert and it's so awesome and loud, my ears didn't stop ringing and could hardly move my neck for about 4 days but totally worth it lol

I saw them live a few times back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They are the GOAT of rock and roll. No one has ever moved and played like Angus Young, their iconic lead guitarist. He was non-stop for over two hours...every single show on every single tour. Btw...he's only 5' 2" inches tall and has worn his trademark schoolboy uniform since the band's inception. If you want to see this song live, watch them doing it at Castle Donington. Here's the link... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKesnqyGaqqMmZo

I saw them August 5, 1979 in Philadelphia. Sadly, the singer (Bon Scott at that time) passed away just after. They were an incredible band. Radio technology for guitars was relatively new, which provided the musicians greater freedom to move around. Angus Young went behind the stage and somehow managed to get to the concession area around the second level of the arena. One of the security people had him hoisted onto his shoulders as he re-entered the arena from the rear. HE WAS STILL PLAYING! They walked down the stairs and into the audience where they walked from the back, through the crowd, all the way to the stage (the length of a hockey rink). Those were fun times with great shows. Tickets were about $7 to $10. There were three acts that night including Ted Nugent, AC/DC and the Scorpions. I was 18 at the time and I still remember that night.

I have loved AC/DC for ages, and I think that the lead singers' (note where I put the apostrophe) voices can best be described as three cats in fight. The point is that the lead singer, Brian Johnson, is the second lead singer for the band. The first one, Bon Scott, died of an overdose, but sounded the same as the second one, Brian Johnson. If you want to see what they looked like in their prime live with their original lead singer, check them out playing a concert in Glasgow, Scotland in 1978 at kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWTRdnSjqZp0kJo. The song is a live version of "Let There Be Rock." It highlights the solo talent of Angus Young when he was young.
