This Bama team went as Milroe went all season and Bama fans can get mad at me if they want but I witnessed exactly what the problem was, Milroe went from let a naysayer know to famous and worth 2 mill, new hairstyle, funky dancing in the endzone!!! At the beginning of this season he had everything going for him and because he didnt keep his head where it should be he may not even get drafted!!!! Alabama did great at home, the only problems were being on the road, which they just have to adjust to. All of their 3 losses came from the other opponents stadium. I think next year, they will get better, this is their first year with a new coach, they just need some discipline, a better defense, and a better offense, with maybe some new coaches, if possible.

Yes, poor performance in losses but DeBoer has 9 wins with another game to go. 2) DeBoer's coaching staff was assembled in January, after most of the other teams had its staff in place. 3) DeBoer had no choice but to watch player nearly 30 players enter the Portal while not being allowed to pick up new talent. 4) As I said the last two seasons, Milroe is a RB playing QB. DeBoer will hopefully have a QB playing QB next season.

Defense was not the problem. Outside of poor 3rd & 4th down play in the 3-losses, the D was dependable. It was put in difficult situations due to poor O performance, time and again. That's whether 3 & outs, turnovers, poor punts... It allowed 1 TD in the first half and 1 in the second against Vandy. BAMA was in the OU game until early 4th quarter and only allowed 17 points in the game-the other score was Milroe pick-6.

No longer will they be able to hoard and stockpile all these good players many of which will never see the field because they're stuck behind other foreign five-star players. The guys that were legitimately good to elite players still got to see playing time whether they were rotated in games, played special teams, came in to finish out games etc and then when they got physically ready and had gained experience learning from and practicing with and against other guys that were considered among the best at their positions then their time came where they were featured for a season or 2 as a starter or nearly 1 and made it to the NFL and were as best prepared for the transition as anyone anywhere else that say came in as a freshman and became a star and celebrity....Bama was simply 3 to 4 deep with the best players at a position some years under Saban which as u stated is not happening there or anywhere else and is why we're not seeing such dominant teams as sure the big dogs will have studs starting at every position on the field but NIL has made it to where no 1 team can afford to have a legit roster that's highly talented and deep that they can rotate guy's in on defense to keep freshest legs on the field and see little to no drop off when doing so....now studs see more playing time than ever and injuries can easily cripple the best teams as having good depth isn't obtainable with other teams offering more $ and immediate playing time which is what athletes obviously prioritize as they should

Let's be honest if Clemson or SMU were in the SEC they wouldn't be in the playoffs. Clemson is champion of ACC, they lost by 4 scores to UGA, Alabama beat UGA. Clemson lost to SC, SC isn't in the playoffs. Alabama has every reason to be upset at not getting in as Neither Clemson nor SMU proved they could out play the SEC. It should be Alabama and Army in the the CFP considering Army only lost one game against ND who is higher ranked the Ohio.
