That Foster mom is amazing. As someone who when through the special ed program. We all need different things and some schools can't give the support kids need. And am so happy that she can afford to give that little girl what she needs and what makes her happy and life so much better. Both short term and long term. I hope that kid gets adopted by that mom cause she clearly cares and will/has given her heart and soul to the kid. And so many people aren't that lucky. Even if she doesn't. That mom has given the kid so much. Even if it all gets pulled away the kid has still be able to be helped so much and will always carry the skills that school help her with. And know she is worth something. And no matter what someone who isn't blood can love you so much and she is worth being treated well. That story makes me so happy for the kid. And I hate that the sister just dismissed all the kids that mom is doing for her kid.

If anyone was ever mad at me saying " I can't treat your kids the way I want" I would be honestly so fkn scared of them. Why on earth would anyone demand permission to treat your kids in a way that you don't. That's a slippery slide on what she would deem funny if she had free access to the kid going forward.

I love how every few videos the background looks a bit different. The aesthetics are always so soothing and pleasant to the eye. That plus Isabella's unmatched skills for AITA videos are the perfect combo for trying to wake myself up enough to make breakfast.

These stories always amaze me. I feel so lucky that I don’t have any family members that are this INSANE. We’ve got family drama, but nothing like this. People are CRAZY

My side hustle is childcare. The amount of money people will cheap out on for it is insane. I luckily work with an agency and it is truly a side gig for me. But I knew from my first job that I will never do it full-time unless something disastrous happens to my finances. I once had a parent ask about my degree and educational background only to say they want to pay $20 a day. A DAY. Like wtf? I'll make sure your kid is okay but you pay for the quality you get with service based work. I'm not tutoring your child, meal prepping, and doing a late night shift for you to go on a date/outing with my 7 plus years of experience for $20 a day! This job made me realize I cannot afford kids. As the child of a single parent, I simultaneously don't know how she did this for four of them and know I'm will definitely be the cool aunt moving forward. I can barely afford myself lol.

Oh my god some people are insane! Everyone deserves livable wages! And taking care of a child is a serious job! Damn! I’m shocked

I currently pay $18/day for day time only *dog* daycare and $40/day when I need an overnight sitter because I trust them to oversee his well being. I'd have questions if someone charged me less. My dog is a little high maintenance, but a kid is WAY more work....can't imagine paying less for a kid than a dog, it'd make me so uncomfortable because either the sitter is being grossly undervalued or my kid isn't being properly cared for.

@@jme111paying 18 a day for someone to watch your dog is grossly underpaying as well. you need to rethink your payments smh.

the babysitting one; I know that when I was 16 I would definitely not be equipped enough to do an overnight babysitting gig, with a 9 month old as well is crazy!! idk what they were expecting as if their babysitter wasnt going to sleep

Exactly! I loved babysitting at that age but that would have been so rough! Really an insane expectation for someone so young

the one about making the child cry and finding it funny is so triggering to me. that happened to me a ton as a kid because my family was large and a lot of them were teens at the time. it genuinely messed me up, and to see them laughing gave me a tremendous amount of embarrassment and shame. it's legitimately messed up and you have got to have something wrong to enjoy the pain of children (who love and trust you nonetheless)

Costco Child: even if she had l confronted the family, the staff need to know what that kid was doing because that’s a good safety/public safety issue and those dispensers now need to be cleaned. I would’ve absolutely done the same thing as OP, telling the staff immediately. I love kids but that shit is nasty

I agree. I can’t believe anyone this day and age would think it’s appropriate to hire a 16 year old CHILD to care for an infant.

The downpayment one seems like the Dad was trying to use the money to manipulate them to move closer to him and he's mad that manipulation didn't work so now he's projecting his feelings onto his kid.

Am so confused on the down payment one. Is she telling the family hey I was told I was going to get all the money for a down payment but guess what dad refused to get me it so I can't come. Blame dad. How dare he. Then yeah I being called an entitled Brite makes somewhat sense. But if the dad paid a lot of money to the other kids but not even half to you. That rises some questions. If she like thank you so much for the money. It's going straight into saving to grow and we are going to really be tight with everything so we can get a house we love. And he causing problems then maybe someone else in the family is being like what do you mean they are saving. You helped your other kids out why not them. Also dad's giving a lot of money. Could it be possible he doesn't have the financial ability to give as much as he use to and feels guilty for that??? Also like maybe it's just cause my family doesn't have that much money or anything. I would be thankful for any help. Am the oldest and my brother did get more financial help for college cause my mom was able to pull more money out of the house that year. To help get him though college. I need more information on what the family is like and how much of a difference are we talking about. This one really confusrs me too

Same here lol! It was a bit hard to make a fair argument on that one. I just didn’t think OP was wrong for not traveling to save $$ for a house.

First of all it doesn't matter if your child was in, intensive care, if your child has special needs if your child's autistic I don't give a s*** nobody she think it is funny to make another child cry.. there's something wrong with the human if they think it's funny to watch a child cry and then get mad at you because you don't think it's funny that somebody's making your child cry.. no excuse
