Tripe has to be cleaned properly and then....boiled for quite some time. One can eat it in a broth and, I have had tripe schnizels : delicieux. Mediterraneans and Latin americans love tripe: some of us prefer from veal as it bears a more delicate flavour. In Africa is a kind of delicacy as other offals: nothing is wasted and, yes, to those who know....there is no need to add anything else. Kind regards.

Does this guy realize what he is doing? I grew up seeing and hearing negative things about Africa. Now I see Africa in a different light. Now i think in most of Africa, its people, and culture is beautiful. Im sure im not the only one.

We also call it “Smiley” in South Africa and it’s a favorite. Some parts are only for the men as well like the tongue. We also have the sour milk we call it “Amasi” and we have it with maize meal aka pallenta , we still love it this day ! I miss home food so much ❤️
