The Dome of the Rock is an Islamic shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount, where the Dome of The Rock, the Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Golden Gate stands, is one of the most precious pieces of land on Earth. Recently the tensions around this area only intensified as Jews and Muslims clashed for dominance on the Temple Mount. Almost every year during Ramadan, Muslims throw stones from the top of the Temple Mount at Jews who pray at the Western Wall. The Israeli police reacts by entering the site to pacify the aggressors, which of course, creates even more anger from the Muslim community. So why exactly is this place so fought for? And are the many religious claims that see this place as the cornerstone of all Abrahamic faiths true? What is under this big shiny gold dome? Those are the questions we will try to answer in today’s episode. And believe me, there are some fascinating things I can’t wait to share with you.

The account of Abraham taking his Son to be sacrificed, is a picture of what God planned to do with His only begotten Son. It puts into perspective to us, how great a sacrifice God made for us. That while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And on the third day he rose from death, for our justification. Praise God! Come quickly Lord Jesus

Facts, first born to be sacrificed, Abraham's first was Ismail not ISSAC. Any way you hated the jews for 2 thousand yrs for killing jesus all of a sudden he's a brother. Bunch of hypocrites, you know romans crucified criminals on the cross. Amd you bowing down to it,makes you an idol worshiper. Rabbi tovia singer agrees too. Did you know that jews are allowed to pray in mosque's, but not in churches,a jew will never set foot in a churcj.

@messenger ministries Bible has been changed so many times ,thousands of denominations, not a literal of God, Hinduism is older religion then christianity has the same concept of trinity like yours. 25the of dec is the roman sun god. Abraham and all the prophets pbuh has nothing to do with christianity. On and on Jewish scholar Rabi Tovia Singer says christians are idol worshipers and Islam a d Judaism is the only two who believe in one God. Also says jews are not allowed to enter a church, but they can enter the mosques a d pray in it. Why don't you do this go on you tube and type Perfect Storm and Hamzas den they are live sreams ,come bring all your proofs that christianity is true. Be prepared because we can prove you wrong with proof.

My two boys and I had a flat up a few blocks from the walled city in 1977-78. It was a great find as we had heat in the winter because both the Swedish and Spanish embassies were on the two top floors. I believe the Mormons had a spot in the basement. We shared the flat with others as we technically only rented one bedroom. It was all I could afford, but it was nice. We would walk several blocks to the north to a shopping center where we could use a laundry, and then brought the clothes back to dry on clotheslines on the roof. There was an Arab shopkeeper a little down the hill from us where we could shop also. There were several Arab boys in the neighborhood whom my sons could play with. The city has changed much since then. I enjoy your videos, but alas, recognize very little from when we lived there. We travelled about the country down in the Sinai (occupied by Israel at the time) on up as far as Tel Dan. I love the archaeology and history of Israel and went to many of the ancient sites. Of course, we did go to the Dome of the Rock and found it very beautiful. The most memorable place for me, however, was Masada. Thank you for your informative videos.

Dear@@matthewchapman2248, The subject matter and the issue being discussed is the location of the Temple in relation to the rock. You seem to miss the relevance of the issue because your bias can only narrowly focus on make your own bias statement out of context of the issue being discussed. It's kind of like two people discussing whether a V8 engine is better than a turbo charged 6, and you inject the comment, "well airplanes can fly".
@matthewchapman2248
@matthewchapman2248 Жыл бұрын
@@Silverheart1956 but aeroplanes can fly... And I still hold to my first comment; there is a bias in the video narration. Why I say this is because the societal impacts of the governing body changing over the centuries isn't taken into account. It's like saying the v8 engines is all we have to look at: the whole 100 years of development isn't important.
@Silverheart1956

Dear@@matthewchapman2248 , Perhaps you could explain and clarify what you are trying to say. I don't see your point as well addressed or explained. It is very fuzzy. Be Well, DZ
@matthewchapman2248
@matthewchapman2248 Жыл бұрын
@@Silverheart1956 thank you. I'm not trying to be uncivil if it comes across that way - I'm 're reading my writing aloud. I love the entire video: everything about it is golden. If the narrator wasn't involved that is. I had to mute the video to watch it. Because there is such a thing as archaeology. However there is a difference between that field and history. We dig for archaeological records to consolidate data we already know passed down through historic literature. Our understanding of events evolve and adapt to new finds. To correlate anything archaeological with real humans; you can't infer God's devine hand in the shaping of the events they partook in. For example; we know about Abraham being told to sacrifice his son for the Lord.. It was a test of his faith. At the last second an angel from the Lord removed that burden by delivering Abraham a goat or something. Archaeological evidence for this? Nope. Correlations with biblical events to suit already found records? Yes. Abraham if real, was a crazily ill man who almost murdered his son. An unknown person from the crowd was successful in stopping this madness: the son was spared from a deranged father; and they all celebrated by sacrificing the animal provided. Then somebody covered up or muddied exactly what happened. THIS is why I stated the first time; there is clear favouritism in bias: the fact that the order of events is dictated by biblical account - from the premise that God and his define power coordinated these events - it leaves out logical conclusions or understanding of events. Which is why when it comes to religious privilege and dogma being instituted; especially how we see it done in Israel; is despicable. These events happened many lifetimes ago. And hatred is bred in many nations across this world bound by these fairytails.

The Old Testament is telling of a coming saviour; The New Testament states he’s here and prescribes his life, his work, his death and resurrection only in testimony for the Old Testament; one cannot be read without the other;

Daniel 9:24 - 9:27. Tanakh Jewish Bible Daniel 9:24 (In kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmOrgql_is6Vepo Daniel is among the children of Israel in exile in Babylon thinking that the prophecy in Jeremiah 25:12 and Jeremiah 29:10 are the same 70 years but is made to understand that they are two different overlapping 70 year periods and says in Daniel 9:2 “ .. I thought about the calculations … since the destruction of Jerusalem” meaning the prophecy in Jeremiah 29:10 to restore the people and build the second temple in Jerusalem is to be calculated from the date of the destruction of the first temple in Jerusalem which was on AM 3338 Hebrew calendar date. Angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel that) Seventy weeks (of years 70x7= 490 years from AM 3338 to AM 3829 in the Hebrew calendar is the time from the destruction of the First Temple in AM 3338 to the destruction of the Second Temple in AM 3829 which is the period covering the 70 years of exile in Babylon for the children of Israel and the 420 years of the existence of the Second Temple after which there will be no Temple in Hosea 3:4 and the Messianic Age can begin) have been decreed on your people (the children of Israel) and on the city of your Sanctuary (the Second Temple in Jerusalem, indeed until this happens the following six promises cannot happen), to bring an end to the wrongdoing and to end sin (in the world in the Messianic Age kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3eYkqysZbCFaZY ), and to make amends for wrongdoing (in the world in the Messianic Age at a time only known by God in Hosea 3:4-3:5, Ezekiel 34:13,. Ezekiel 37:21-37:22 and Ezekiel 37:26), and to bring eternal righteousness (in the world in the Messianic Age at a time only known by God in Isaiah 59:20, Hosea 3:4-3:5, Ezekiel 34:13,. Ezekiel 37:21-37:22 and Ezekiel 37:26 that can start when a generation among the children of Israel have turned to God in repentance and show they are ready to be an example of righteousness behaviour in the world), and to seal up vision and prophet (to end revelation from God through dreams and prophets), and to anoint the most holy place (meaning to establish the Third Temple in Jerusalem and direct revelation from God in Ezekiel 37:26-37:28, Isaiah 2:2-2:4, Jeremiah 31:33 in Tanakh Jewish bible or Jeremiah 31:34 in Christian bible, Zechariah 8:22-8:23 and Zechariah 14:9. The Hebrew year AM 3338 for the destruction of the First Temple of God in Daniel 9:25 and AM 3829 for the destruction of the Second Temple of God in Daniel 9:26-9:27 is the 490 year prophecy and then a time will pass in Hosea 3:4 without a temple meaning after the second temple is destroyed an amount of time known only to God will pass until the third temple is established in Hosea 3:5 as revealed in Daniel 9:24 where the end of this 490 year prophecy is “to bring an era of eternal righteousness and anoint the most holy place” which will be the establishment of the third temple. Cursed by the rabbis are those who claim to know the hour of the end of days because their speculation does nothing but cause unrest in the community, In Christian teaching Jesus does not know the hour because God will not give anyone this information in the Gospel of Mark 13:32 and Gospel of Matthew 24:36 meaning do not believe speculation about this matter because it causes needless unrest in society). Note 1. The Jewish calendar year AM (Anno Mundi) means “from the creation of the world” and is placed in front of the date. . Daniel 9:25 (In kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmOrgql_is6Vepo Daniel is among the children of Israel in exile in Babylon thinking that the prophecy in Jeremiah 25:12 and Jeremiah 29:10 are the same 70 years but is made to understand that they are two different overlapping 70 year periods and says in Daniel 9:2 “ .. Angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel) And you shall know and understand that from the going out of the word (of Jeremiah that begins when Jerusalem and the First Temple were destroyed in Daniel 9:2 “ .. I thought about the calculations … since the destruction of Jerusalem” and the time that will pass) to restore and build Jerusalem (and the Second Temple of God is) until an anointed prince (in Isaiah 45:1 King Cyrus the King of Persia will be] seven weeks (of years 7x7= 49 years which happened counting from after the destruction of the first temple in AM 3338+49 years+3.5 years*= AM 3390.5 Hebrew date when King Cyrus invited the children of Israel to return from their exile in Babylon to Jerusalem in Judah today in Israel and Palestine and rebuild the Second Temple of God in Isaiah 44:28 - 45:1, Isaiah 45:13, Ezra 1:1-1:3 and 2 Chronicles 36:22-36:23); and (for) sixty-two weeks (of years 62x7= 434 years) it (Jerusalem) will be re-built street (by street) and moat (by moat), but in troubled times (where the Second Temple period would be a time of political and spiritual conflict between the Jewish people and between the Jewish people and the Roman Empire. * Daniel 9:24 tells us there are 70 weeks however the number of weeks in Daniel 9:25 is 62+7= 69 weeks meaning 1 week which is 1x7=7 years is divided in half = 3.5 years so that part of it is used here and part of it is used there. Daniel 9:25 mentions only whole weeks meaning the missing 1 week representing 7 years has been divided into two halves or two parts to give the calculations using the Hebrew calendar). sites.google.com/view/islamandthekoran/curse-of-daniel-9-24-27

you might be interested in the video created by Michael Rood on topic of location of the ark of convenant claiming it is directly underneath golgotha and he has a very credible explanation as to how and why it was placed there. It makes complete sense to me and recently I have read that the archaeological excavations ongoing at site have unearthed a brick wall which the Israel authorities are completely unwilling to break through. There might be a number of reasons for it but one is a genuine fear of what they may find. It is exactly where Rood says the arch is and lets face it the sacred books of the OT are quite clear that if touched it kills the person doing so with the exception of David.

@@donnasherwood283 "Where is the Ark of the Covenant Located? The Ark of the Covenant is one of the most fascinating of all Temple-related subjects. There are many theories about what happened to the Ark of the Covenant, and speculation abounds as to its actual location. Some people think it was taken to the Vatican, together with other Temple vessels, such as those depicted on the Roman monument, the Arch of Titus. There are many authentic, ancient historical chronicles, and even more popular legends, that attest to many sacred vessels having been taken away to Rome. However, this does not apply to the most holy feature of the First Temple, the Ark. While some claim to have evidence that the ark is in Ethiopia, and of course, moviegoers were treated to a fanciful version of the story in "Raiders of the Lost Ark," in reality, the expression "lost" ark is not an accurate description for the Jewish people's point of view - because we have always known exactly where it is. So the Ark is "Hidden," and hidden quite well, but it is not lost. Tradition records that even as King Solomon built the First Temple, he already knew, through Divine inspiration, that eventually it would be destroyed. Thus Solomon, the wisest of all men, oversaw the construction of a vast system of labyrinths, mazes, chambers and corridors underneath the Temple Mount complex. He commanded that a special place be built in the bowels of the earth, where the sacred vessels of the Temple could be hidden in case of approaching danger. Midrashic tradition teaches that King Josiah of Israel, who lived about forty years before the destruction of the First Temple, commanded the Levites to hide the Ark, together with the original menorah and several other items*, in this secret hiding place which Solomon had prepared. This location is recorded in our sources, and today, there are those who know exactly where this chamber is. And we know that the ark is still there, undisturbed, and waiting for the day when it will be revealed. An attempt was made some few years ago to excavate towards the direction of this chamber. This resulted in widespread Moslem unrest and rioting. They stand a great deal to lose if the Ark is revealed - for it will prove to the whole world that there really was a Holy Temple, and thus, that the Jews really do have a claim to the Temple Mount. (The official position of the Islamic Wakf, the body that governs over the Temple Mount, is that there never was a Holy Temple, and that the Jews have no rights whatsoever to the place)." @@The_Revealer_7 I wouldn't mind reading it if I could navigate there. But I can tell you already that Jesus was a Jew and he never intended to create a new religion. If you consider yourself a Christian, you are more of a Jew with some strange interpretations about resurrection and the afterlife. You spend way too much time justifying the trinity as monotheistic, and you are confused about your right to evangelize Jews. The truth is that as a Jew, you would lead by example and not foist your religious beliefs on others. Jesus represented Judaism and his life was an invitation into Jacob's tent. It's an open invitation for 2,000 years. Jesus was a bridge to God, not an actual god. Cross the bridge, enter the tent, and be Jewish like Jesus.

@@gaylerosenthal1828 I did not came here to debate. I can tell you that am a Christian believer. I am not a Jew and I do not believe I can be redeemed and saved through the religion of Judaism. It is my strong conviction, that I can only be saved through faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the true Messiah spoken about several times by the prophets in the old testament. Jesus payed the penalty of my sins with his blood. We are all born as sinners and needs redemption to be considered righteous before God. My faith is consistent with scriptures in the Bible. References from holy scripture: Prophecies about Jesus as Messiah. The descriptions in old testament Bible verses matches accurately the events happening later in the first century: Read Isaiah 7: 14 and Isaiah 9: 6 and Zechariah 9: 9. The clearest prophecy about Jesus coming as a redeemer is Isaiah 53: 3 - 7, where it is stated; "the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all." Scriptures where Jesus is described as Redeemer: Romans 3: 23 - 25 and Hebrews 9: 11 - 12.

This is a great video and compelling hypothesis about the true location of the Holy of Holies. However, I also know that the Dome of the Spirits is in line with the East West path of the Eastern Gate and that the original Eastern Gate was located where the current sealed up one is located. Thus, it would not be possible for the Ark to have been placed where you indicate in the Dome of the Rock but rather to the north of it, where there is a perfectly flat stone of the original Mount Moriah also visible under the Dome of the Spirits. And I believe this flat rock, under the Dome of the Spirits, is at a higher altitude than the one under the Dome of the Rock which is actually seated in a slight depression inside that structure. Of course, as a Christian I been able to stand by the Dome of the Spirits and confirmed its alignment with the East Gate, but I have never been inside the Dome of the Rock. Yet I also know that the Temple Mount tunnel running at the base of the Western Wall also has a spot marked as the nearest spot to the Holy of Holies on the Western Wall that corresponds with the Dome of the Spirit. Another reason why I must disagree with your identification of the Temple with the Dome of the Rock location. It was likely just to the north and in alignment with the Eastern Gate where Jesus came to visit the Temple from the Mount of Olives. He is coming back the same way -- from the East and through that sealed up Gate! #blessings #maranatha

You make too much of "Isaac's relationship to his father" after the attempted sacrifice. Abraham believed that God would fulfill His promises to give him many generations through Isaac. He believed that God would resurrect Isaac, and he would have told Isaac the same. Abraham's faith in the Resurrection made him the father of Judeo-Christianity. So there's nothing embarrassing or contradictory about it.. **EDIT: I'm adding this for those on here saying I'm adding to the text or misunderstanding something. From Hebrews 11: "[17] By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered Isaac: and he that had received the promises, offered up his only begotten son; [18] (To whom it was said: In Isaac shall thy seed be called.) Absolutely brilliant, the way you put this together. Your voice is so easy to understand, taking time to let each word "soak in" rightly so, otherwise would be like chug-a-lugging fine vintage wine. This very valuable, and vital history, that has affected, and still effects all mankind, is well placed in such capable hands as yours, and by your ingenious methods of graphic creations. The work that you do to bring these videos is very obvious. Thank you, and may God continue his blessings upon you and yours. We support you prayerfully , and will monetarily. 🙏🌈

Dear @J Martin That is a good point you brought to my attention. I usually have a difficult time with various accents of people who natively speak another language. However, when I read your comment I realized I have not problem with is accent. I find his words pretty clear and have no problem understanding what he is saying. You are right he speaks quite clearly. Be Well, DZ

Dear brother in The Lord, As I see it : When Abraham said;"God will provide" , he did not only build his son Isaak's faith in Abraham as his father - hé also build in his son faith in God ‼️ Within the moment itself, even though going feelings of fear and not understanding (the both of them) -> saw that God DID provide‼️ That IS one of His Names 💞🔥. So through Faith in the Everlasting Most High God of Israël, on their way back both their faith's had grown. For they ( and we !!) serve a Loyal, Loving, Rightious and True God 💯‼️💖 God bless you and your extended ones through The Holy Spirit 💖, in His service ✝️🌹, A. DEE WAI 🕊️

Abraham said, "Elohim Yireh Lo Haseh LeOlah Bni" which means God will appear Himself as the lamb for a burnt offering my son. Abraham was prophesying that God Himself would appear as the Lamb, Jesus is God in human form. The word "Yireh" means to appear or be seen and not provide, it is sadly mistranslated by many.

@@jeredikiah8914 Dear brother in The Lord, Jeredikia, I did understand, through God's Mercy, that Jesus (God The Son, not only The Son of God 😏) was Jesus in human form - John chapter 1. 🕊️ I also had realised that Abraham prophesied to his son Isaak and within those spoken words was "the parallel" to be found what The Lord God Almighty did for us through His Only Begotten Son Yeshua/Jesus. Wich is SO humbling...🛐 We can only strive to act upon His Words. To me that seems the only way to get His Words across to a dying world with those in it who still need to be saved. Isn't Our Heavenly Father ABSOLUTELY GOOD ??!!💖💯 Thank you dearly for your respons, I'll most definitaly look into it 🎯 !! Sincerely in Christ,

From what I’ve researched it appears that Abraham was 137 years old and Isaac was 37 years old. Very different than a small boy always pictured in art. Isaac could have fought his own father off, but he did not. Abraham proved his priorities! It’s not the gift (Issac), but the giver of the gift that truly matters.

@Betty you do realize that Isaac was approximately 63 years old too when they had Esau and Jacob?

@Betty just one of my commentaries states, “ ‘I and the lad will go yonder’- Rather the YOUNG MAN for it is the SAME WORD applied to the two ‘young’ men who remained with the ass.” This commentator reckons Isaac to have been 25 years of age. Betty, it’s actually very important to “study” the Bible and not just read it. I’ve been studying Hebrew, Paleo Hebrew and some Greek for decades. By studying you will find what words actually mean and not what the Old English, King James, version implies. And, especially their context! if you would like me to state any more commentaries, this was just the first one I grabbed from my MANY books, “please” let me know. 🕊

@Betty my gosh Betty you need to know some Hebrew etc. to actually understand what words really mean in the Bible. If you are a lover of the word then “study” it!! I’ve STUDIED His word for over 40+ years and my family is Jewish. Tell me about it!!
