I think Indy, Avowed, Gears 6, Shattered Space, and Doom sound like they're all pretty safe bets. If you then add the Gears collection (if its actually a major overhaul), Perfect Dark, and Forza Horizon, then you've got a pretty good conference. Throw in a few more surprises, and it could truly be great! Last year was a fantastic conference, imo. They had been missing the mark for a few years, hopefully this year can continue to give us reason to be excited!

It's not really a surprise. It's for the investors. Hey we know Starfield didn't do well, but look at the hype we have for Elder Scrolls 6, our next big game. Bethesda announced Elder Scrolls 5 after the blowback from Fallout 76. Fallout 5 was announced after the blowback of Starfield. Now Microsoft proper demands increased margins, so the question remains do they need Bethesda proper when their lead writer is terrible and their engine dated. Sure the show brought in the casual consumers, "hype train current thingers" to be specific, but they are a fickle lot. Ask Nintendo. No telling if they'll stick around for a few years until Bethesda's next game.

@@alejandrogomez720 that isn’t true. Developers do get paid bonuses based on sales metrics and even hitting certain download goals on gamepass. It is going to vary from studio to studio and it’s based on whatever contractual agreements they have but it isn’t just a flat rate to make a game with no strings attached. There is probably even stipulations put in place saying that they make more or less for hitting development milestones and meeting release dates.

Want to know my theory of why Ninja Theory is safe from being closed no matter how Senua's Saga does? Because they are the Performance capture and Unreal 5 masters. How can you say ff7 is a joke when its one of if not the greatest jrpg of all time ? Your clearly only saying that because remake and rebirth arent xbox. It would have been multi platform back in 2015 when they started yet at that time xbox wasnt going to help with costs to make it sony did and sony got the exclusive rights to it at that time along with many more games not just square enix games. It did get brought up in the ftc trial thats how we know the ff7r trilogy ff16 silent hill steller blade are all ps5 exclusive but you should just be thankfull square finally woke up and is now going multi platform and maybe they can get all those games out of a sony contract and make them playable everywhere becuase as square said they are fully going multi platform now. I was just like you once i was angry that ff7 remake wasnt playable on my xbox or switch i waited years so you know what i did i waited for a ps5 sale and got a ps5 to play these games it sucks but if you want to play these 3rd party exclusive games in this era thats what you have to do though hopefully square will start making things playable everywhere.

I disagree Contraband taking place mostly in your car. Avalanche is known to allow open world freedom of the characters and they said this was their most ambitious game they ever made. Great video. Looking forward to Perfect Dark, Doom, Indiana Jones, a new Banjo (I've enjoyed my time with Yooka-Laylee games), Wu-Tang sounds cool. Contraband is my most anticipated game though, that game just sounds really cool. I'm cool waiting until 2025, preferably during the first half to avoid GTA VI. Aside from that, yeah sweet lineup, I am a little nervous about the number of games potentially slated for Holiday 2024, but we'll see! I just want dates for these games, give us day and month dates! Fingers crossed that all these games will rock and that we get some awesome shadow drops after the Showcase!

I have absolutely tempered my expectations when it comes to Microsoft publishing games, I am always left disappointed, I can't remember the last time I have played an Xbox game and said ,"oh my God this is the greatest game ever."

This is what I think of PlayStation games. They are the most overrated games in the industry. Everyone talks how they are so great, but most of the games are just average and sometimes even boring to be honest.

honestly i would prefer a fallout 3 remaster to a remake, i think if they remade it they would get rid of the dark textures and try and make it colourful like fallout 4

I'm optimistic but I'm also realistic. I have no doubt that all of this will be revealed. The real question is "are we gonna get release dates?" A lot of those were revealed like 5 years ago. If they get revealed only for it to be said that they're "deep in development" ...I dunno. I also now understand the purpose behind remakes now more than ever. It buys time. I don't mind playing a remake of a favorite, but xbox needs to drop some hefty first party AAA games asap

I'm super excited about all of these games. I really think the Xbox landscape is going to change in a very good way over the next couple of years. I still haven't really played Starfield yet. Too many games. I'll wait until this holiday so I get the best experience, and it will all be new to me.
