What do ya do with Vlad Jr.? Dodgers have 1st base covered with Freddie, DH is covered with Shoei where n how do they use Vlad? Vlad isn't going to be willing to take a back seat and ride the bench as Freddie's back up and besides that's not what the Dodgers would be paying him all those BIG BUCKS to do. He's too fat, heavy n slow to be moved to the outfield and I don't know of any other positions he'd be capable of playing. Now you wanna talk about a trade Dodgers do have kind of a hole at the shortstop position maybe go after a Bo or Bobby both are better than average fielding shortstops and they both hit for average and come with better than average power at the plate smarter move yes, no, maybe, sometimes, always, never?
