But when someone, i.e., an English speaker, speaks the language that is not part of the dominant culture, people would say wow, you’re doing an excellent job. That’s why you can only see native English speakers making videos like this, bragging about how well they speak an exotic language. I personally have never seen any non native speaker making videos about how s/he “shocks” people with her/his perfect language skill.
