Good video. 1 correction though. The part about getting the most recent sales to use as comps. Values are adjusted using previous years sales. So as follows; 2023 values use 2022 sales, 2024 values will use 2023 sales and so forth. So again, to appeal the 2023 assessment you would use 2022 sales, not sales from 2023.

Shaheeda, how do I go about knowing my property boundaries? I am moving from Kennesaw to Douglasville soon and we want to look into that.

You should get a property survey that will tell you the boundaries. If you are buying a resale you can ask the seller of they have one or new construction you may be able to get one at closing. Or just buy your own, it could be a few hundred or low Thousands depending on the size of your lot. Thanks for watching
