The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to make a wig for her, but the hair started falling out. She claims the defendant accused her of taking poor care of the wig, so she’s suing for the cost of the wig and lost wages. The defendant says she fixed the wig for the plaintiff, and she’s countersuing for slander and lost wages.

@@mindfull_masterpiece No, she rules on legal precedent, which you clearly don’t know in this case, or you would know that the defendant would have had to refuse the first time the plaintiff reached out. However, because she didn’t, she obligated herself to the alternate deal. Tired of y’all playing lawyer-just going to start posting case names from here out.

Also, I don’t know if it’s technically “law” but a person representing a business. that doesn’t reply to a complaint by a patron is usually never seen as a “no”. It’s always held against the business. Better to repo d and say.NO then to sit on your hands.

I kinda disagree with the verdict in this case. People are ignoring the fact that the defendant waited TWO WEEKS after consistently wearing the wig to complain about missing tracks and gaps. They are also failing to see that SHE BROUGHT A DAMAGED WIG FROM ANOTHER STYLIST FOR HER TO FIX. The wig was compromised from the beginning. They should have brought in some kind of black hair expert to explain that. This woman came up on $100 for an old dusty wig someone tried to help her repair. This is wild
@atlcoco
@atlcoco 3 жыл бұрын
Finally someone else that understands. The stylist was doing her a favor by making a wig out of used hair anyway. Then she violated the stylist policy by waiting two weeks to complain. Anything could’ve happened to the wig within that time. Stylist have multiple clients, if she really had an issue and felt like it was the stylist fault, she should’ve reached out again before waiting a whole month. By then the wig needed to be maintained , that’s why she was going to charge her the $65 not for the tracks. People just don’t watch to understand

I said Ma’am never in my life have I had only 6 tracks in my head. She said okay it’s $100 per track. Another lady told me she said go somewhere else this is ridiculous. It was a salon inside a mall. I left I would never pay that much for a sew in ever. I politely thanked her and left.😂😂

She short changed the Plaintiff… She should’ve just given her just the cost of the wig back (225 or whatever it was) with a taxes it had. I’m actually surprised I thought she was at least going to get that. Don’t know why people bother coming in this court thinking they’re going to get anything they anticipate. They always get shorted whatever they’re supposed to get by this judge.

She wore the wig for a week so she did get some use of it. If the wig fell apart as soon as she brought it home and she was never able to use it then she probably would have gotten all of her money back. It wouldn’t be fair to the defendant if the plaintiff got the wig for free.
