Leather Stretch solution: 3 parts water, 1 part isopropyl alcohol

I use the wooden stretcher. My solution is slightly different. I use 3 parts single malt and 1 tsp water. Stretch the shoe and enjoy the single malt.

I pay $15 for spry stretcher and it was just alcohol with water for 4 oz bottle now I put one part alcohol and 3 part water and it work perfectly thank you for your video

dude easy thing take rubbing alcohol and put some of it inside the shoe enough to make the shoe wet if you do not have shoes gadgets or the stretcher take a Glass Bottle( Coco cola) ones , the one I used and if you desire wrap around some fabric around the bottle also depending how much space you need. It takes about a day then ready. Try to use the shoes around your house to break the leather then it after few days is ready to use anytime anywhere. ( I did this with my TACKHEAD 10 INCH BOOT).

juan luis huerta vivar yes i just saw that on KZbin & few other ways were to peel a baked potatoe place inside shoer moisture stretches shoe, also fill a zip lock plastic bag w water older place inside shoe keep in freezer over night, amazing modern inventiveness ✌️😊

My Clarks Chalsea boots has some pressure point at the instep. I bought size US-7.5 I think I should have buy a US-8.5 instead. But the pressure only felt after 1 hour of wearing, I can't be wearing it that long at the shop. Is it possible to stretch the instep a size bigger? The rest of the boot feel perfectly fine.

My walking boots hurt around both sides of the ankle joint on both shoes. What would you recommend I use to stretch the boots around the ankles? They are perfectly comfortable everywhere else, including the calves. It's just around the ankles where there seems to be a problem.

What about stretching the length of a size 14 leather boot.......with a composite safety toe? Not a lot of length, but the front inside corner of my big toes touch a little bit, after several hours (so increasing width of toebox would help also).Can this be done? I'm guessing 1/4 size would do it. They're Magnums. Thanks.

Don't use the alcohol spray to stretch your patent leather shoes if you care about the color/polish. Just did this to new Bass Weejuns and it messed up the color. Now they look dull.

They stretch but if you don't wear them for a long time they shrink back. I'll try a stretch solution next time... after my blister heals.

On the chance that anyone is still out here.... just bought a beautiful pair of well-made boots needing a little stretch where the toes meet the foot- don't want to spray with solution and risk ruining the finish... does a blow dryer blasted at 30 second increments while the boot is on the foot- alowing to cool in between... does anyone have experience with that method on genuine leather? Just need a little stretch to accommodate a bent-healed break in my toe.
