@@combinatorics1224 lol for the welvare of their people its senguko era japan they care much more about themselfs then their people they only exist for armies and taxes. Dont romanticize senguko era japan it was a very brutal era where samurai took advantage of their peasants and peasants often doing revolts or attacking neigboughering villages for supplies. And where people often betrayed each other in sake of power

Fall of the Samurai, Shimazu is pretty good. Only faciton I played as. They took in the swastika, or the SUN WHEEL or whatever thats called. That symbol is the same as the swastika. This CLAN is part of the city thats off the coast of Japan just south of Shimazu under the water. Is this a coincidence?

I love these bad boys. (Not to diss de other clans) I played this clan first purely because they're green.

They are the easiest, here’s why. Start on Kyushu, plentiful resources, especially near the top. 4 or so trade nodes close by that can be easily accessible early game. Blacksmith start in home province Bottom of map so they are not fighting wars in two fronts and can only expand one way. Shimazu heavy gunners are very powerful.

@@axelNodvon2047 The Oda is definitely the easiest to play for someone experienced with the game, but clans like the Shimazu and Chosokabe I think are much easier to play for newcomers. It’s really easy to expand early as the Oda and you can take a good amount of provinces in the first few turns but for a new player the starting position can be quite difficult being at war on two fronts. The Shimazu and Chosokabe buff the two easiest units to use decently, Katana and Bows, whereas the Oda buff Yari Ashigaru which while strong as hell, isn’t actually a great unit if you don’t know how to use it well. That’s just how I see it though, the Oda are still one of the easiest and strongest clans to play though.

@@TriAzF My first campaign was the Oda on normal. The shimazu or chosokabe would definitely been easier since they don't start in the middle. Once you hit realm divide you will have 2 fronts
