I feel like people wrote more like this back in the day coz you couldn't just message someone like we do now, so you sat down and really put thought into a letter to the other one. This was right before Cetera left the band. David Foster wrote many of the songs on this album and produced it. Foster wanted Cetera to become the group's front man, members said no. Cetera quit and with Foster's help went solo.
