I recently got mine in january, and boy oh boy best decision i ever made, it was between the 19X or Sig M18. I went to the range and compared it to my echelon and its up there. Something about the 19X just feels great. Great video!!

People keep asking me why I like the 19x so much because they don’t see the point of it. And i keep telling them it’s just perfect for me lol. I shoot this gun the best and I trust it the most out of every gun I have. It feel so natural in my hands….and I love Fde💀🤷🏽‍♂️

The little lip on the end of the grip is actually great for people with freaky sasquatch hands to get a full grip, my pinky actually hangs off the end a little bit of a standard G17.

I was not a Glock fan by any stretch of the imagination. I respected Glock pistols for the quality and reliability they provided. Then one day I was reading a review on the 19X and something clicked. I wanted one! I called my FFL and asked if could order one for me. He said “You want a Glock “. Well , he ordered it and now I have it. It’s one of my favorite pistols.😊

The lip on the front of the magwell was a military add on to prevent gloves from impeding magazine insertion. I spent a few minutes with a dremel and some careful measuring to relieve the inside portion of the lip; my G19x now accepts gen5 magazines.

Bro, all you need to do is swap out the gen 5 mag base plates with any other gen base plate

I've heard that there's just something different about the 19x that makes it fire dufferent, and better, than even the 45 model. After seeing a bunch of videos where they said much the same, I ended up buying one. No regrets whatsoever.

This is my favorite Glock to shoot. I replicated a build that Travis Haley runs. Haley Strategic 13 iron sight with the Radian 15 lbs recoil spring and the Radian ramjet comp. It’s a sweet shooting pistol.

I love my 19x only glock that comes out of factory with maritime spring cups its also my only gun with iron sights .i really think that in a combat rule you would not want a dot its a failer point .

@jackomalley3687 yes and no it's pretty hard taking shots through a broken dot trying to use iron sights is just not good meaning it really doesn't work all the time dots fail and it's a failer point that is why most police precinct say no to a dot .

I just got one with a TB and SH sights. Put 250 through it yesterday. The aim is so off I couldn’t use the sights. I got the rear sight knocked over so the windage should be close. If I aim up to where the front sight sits at about 1/2, on the top of the rear, that brings it up🤷‍♂️. Really weird the sights are that far off. We’ll see what happens today.

I bought one after seeing video after video where they said it just has that something intangible, that even tge Glock 45 doesnt have. The internal differences are minor, but there are a couple.

@@davidgraham2673 - I ended up getting the G45 MOS. Now the 19x has a MOS and threaded barrel option, but I have also heard they shoot different between the 2 and the 19X comes out on top. Both are to me imo the best in the line up. 👍🏻🇺🇸

@@Mako-sz4qr , I went for the plain Jane 19x. I was fine with it not being the MOS version. I have to admit to planning on getting the 45 model; Right up until I spotted the S&W M&P in the gun case by accident. Darn my wandering eye, but I can't stop thinking of that beautiful metallic blond sitting there in all her glory. What an impressive handgun. I've heard good things about this newer M&P. Be still, my beating heart.....

FYI…the trigger housing pin comes in two sized…the longer one is used in conjunction with the add on back straps…wasn’t sure if you knew since you bought it used

Used Glocks are better if it's only been shot not modified which I've found to be smoother than new. I've shot Glocks for decadeds and triggers don't bother me at all except I prefer to shave that sharp trigger saftey till its flat when pressed. The magwell was for military soldiers wearing gloves as to not get pinched.

Exactly. You don't want material from gloves interferring with loading a fresh magazine in a hurry. It's a logical addition, considering it was designed for Military use. I still won't remove mine.

I love my 19x but wished it had an RMR plate. However considering I work outside all day moisture would eventually cause corrosion under the red dot

I’m actually torn between this and the M18. Both are great guns . Both have nite sites, both shoot great and although the M18 is red dot compatible I don’t intend to install one The Sig has a better trigger and is more ergonomic but I can almost buy 2 Glock mags for the price of one Sig

Looking for my first gun. Had my sights between the G19 Gen5 and this G19x. Only thing is that illinois only allows 15round magazine. So im gonna be limited to the stock 10 rounds magazine capacity. Good point. My POV is as soon as you buy the new gun, it decreases in value similar to driving a new car off the lot. So why not buy one used, most people are shooting single digit boxes of ammo each year spread across multiple guns. I’ve bought many used that never had a round fired. With no tax, and considering they are often upgraded, I always try to save the 30-50% off of MSRP you typically see with buying used firearms.
