What heat pad were you using to zero. I have the same thermal on the air rifle it is fine at 50 yards as it sees the black dot on the paper, but on the centre fore the hand warming heat pads I am using are too hot and produce a to but target.

What's the startup time like from off, is it better than the thunder 1 ?
