Could you clarify air gun law in regards to shooting within 50 feet of a public highway as I got warned by a passer by when zeroing from my own front garden shooting away from the road like yourself.cheers

Just read the legislation, but it says 50 feet from the centre of a highway when likely to cause user of highway to be injured, interrupted or endangered

In England and Wales it is an offence without lawful authority or reasonable excuse to discharge any firearm within 50 feet of the centre of a highway, which consists of or comprises a carriageway, and in consequence a user of the carriageway is injured, interrupted or endangered. [Section 161(2) of the Highways Act 1980 as amended].

The centre of the road is 51 feet away and there is no footpath, we are in the middle of nowhere :-)

all i can say his this , i out shoot most at are range with a 11.15 ft lbs tx200 0/50 easy all the range bunnies with fxmk 4 ,s400 it’s not standard
