You got an absolute steal on your prices!! We literally just had the same building installed up here in Ohio. Cost just a hair over 11k. (Purchase and install) our concrete slab and digging was almost 13k!! (Went a little thicker to have a 2 post car lift installed) but still. We haven't even started on electrical and insulation and all that yet. Crazy. Good job to you man

Damn! Yeah, I know things have gone way up since I first ordered this building… And I was fortunate to have a hook up on the concrete… Good luck with the building in the build out👍🏼

Thanks for the breakdown, that gives me an idea of what I can expect. Great video of size, I'm restoring a classic 1970 Chevy C10 and before I retire, I want to start the process of adding a garage, working outside sucks😞.

Nice! I agree I worked on most things outside in the backyard prior to this… Just keep in mind obviously prices have gone up since I did this building. It’s been about a good year and a half.

Looks really good. I did something similar about two years ago and I really enjoy it. My building is 28 x 20 and looks almost identical to the one that you did. I used rigid insulation as well but I did not leave an airgap like you did so I definitely learn something by watching this video. I may pull it off and put something back there to space it out and give me that 1 inch gap. Great job! Look forward to watching more of your videos.

Very nice. I'm following since the electrical/insulation video. I have a 30x30 and working on insulation. I used that same eagle coating for the floor but i added some clear artificial sand for slippage since My concrete floor was pretty polished.

The very first thing I did was insulate the ceiling. Moisture/condensation will make it rain in your shop depending on temperature and humidity.

I dig that wooden motorcycle stand. I'd like to do the same for my bike. How do you get it up there? A ramp I suppose? I'd love to see a short video on the construction and operation if you have the inclination. Thanks for your other videos, I found your channel while looking to insulate my shop. I'm also in Florida, Navarre here.

here in AZ bought 28 x 30 metal building with 4 windows cost 20k. yep got it when prices jumped. Plan were $1300 but permit was only $140. But I also upgraded my steel to 12 gauge. I do like the wooded panel may do this and add shower inside since i will be living in it for a while til house is built. Love the plant idea. We hava alot of wind here and holding down plants was a concern.

Thanks for posting these videos. I’m in Ohio and hopefully will be having my 24x36 metal garage installed next month. Ordered it in March and patiently been waiting. I ordered from a dealer for Carolina carports and since I’ll be trying to keep my shop warm I spent the big cash for their insulation package. Thanks for the tips with electric and water, I’ll be doing the same hopefully soon.

It kinda depends on how you’ll be using the space 1” had been pretty good but if you’re gonna mostly be cooling the space and keeping it closed up I’d go for 2”. That being said when i do close up the shop and want to cool the space it does work decent

What made you go bubble vs foam? I'm reading that bubble wrap is best so long as you're not cooling more than 8-10 hours a day. Also, I'm in Tampa also. Care to refer your friend's concrete contact?
@The_Heights
@The_Heights 10 ай бұрын
It seems like the reflective bubble wrap would work as well in my mind I was thinking the R-value would probably be better on something thicker that also has a reflective backing like the foam board so I just chose that… i’m sure either one would work. It’s Leola concrete but they’re a giant brand. I’m not sure the actual crew of guys who came out to do the work. I don’t think they normally do small jobs like this.
