really wish cnn had not taken this and sensationalized it because it is going to keep people from doing what is still recommended, and that is to keep applying sunscreen and protecting your skin from the sun. Many things we are exposed to every day are detected in the bloodstream and are of no harm to us. I dont think it was smart to publicize this article in this manner as it creates more unsubstantiated phobia around sun protection. I always advocate people wear zinc/tiO2 only spf, but those that offer high protection have an unsightly cast. Read the comments section of any video or instgram post of me with a high protection spf mineral sunscreen on, and a majority of the comments are on how awful the cast is and that they would never be caught dead wearing something that looked like that.

But I know someone who is sensitive to dyes and she uses this : www.100percentpure.com/products/fruit-pigmented-blush The thing is, I can’t vouch for any other ingredient but it uses fruit to create color? The rosehip seed oil gives it a woody scent but I can’t tell if they used it for fragrance or because other people would try it for moisture. That whole site is supposed to be dye free I believe. But again, I’m not a doctor.

Hi Dr. Dray! I just recently found your channel and I am binging. I am a hospital-based clinical pharmacist and I absolutely applaud and appreciate your evidence-based recommendations. I admit that in the past I have not been the best about re-applying SPF, but recently bought one of those empty cushion compacts from Amazon and filled it with a gel-based chemical sunscreen to re-apply throughout the day over my tinted SPF without disturbing the aesthetic of coverage with the tint. Thanks for inspiring me to take better care of my skin! As a healthcare provider, it's very easy to feel like you are too busy taking care of other people to take care of yourself sometimes.

I am so, so glad your channel came up on my recommendations a couple of weeks ago. I watched a few of your videos and bought several different products for my skin at Walmart and Walgreens, and I wish I could give you the biggest hug because I have never seen my skin so clear so fast! I've been to my PCP, dermatologist and even seen an endocrinologist because my skin and scalp was acting up so bad. Not even their treatments worked for me. Thank you so much Dr. Dray for all of your info! I can't thank you enough ❤️ and at such a good price! I bought skincare from Sephora that was working better than what my doctor's recommended, but it was at least $50 for each item. I spent $50 on face wash, AM & PM lotion/moisturizer and a spot treatment. It was worth every penny.

Dr Dray.... a couple of months ago I had THEE WORST break out in years to the point of depression. Well, following your no frills tips has left my skin almost crystal clear! I want to thank you so much for your dedication to delivering the information that you do. Cutting out products with fragrance and using a basic cleanser and good moisturizer ( vanicream, is what I use) along with differin has just been a god send. Just an FYI, I showed this product (when I was using it) to a dermatologist I was seeing and he said to stop wasting my money because it does absolutely nothing for my skin in terms of correction etc. I appreciated his honesty and stopped buying it.

I love this video. It cracks me up every time I watch it. I do have a friend that loves his Peptide 21 moisturizers. I use the Drunk Elephant Protini. My friend is actually getting double the amount of product for about $10 more. I have never been a PTR fan, however he has gotten a little better with the peptide product. I have learned so much from you, not to mention all the money I have saved. Thanks

Always enjoy your trips to Ulta. Love the Roth humor. I agree, Kiehl's is junk but people continue you to buy it. I used Clarins for awhile with good results but it's just too expensive to use on a regular basis. Thanks for the tip about Dermablend. Enjoy!!

“Filled with nothing but menthol” i use it and literally theres no hint of menthol in fact some ppl ik who use clinique have real goos skin so like girl needs to explain herself bc shes over here saying all these things are bad when anyone who uses these products not just clinique and uses the right things for them have real good skin so like.idky yall be like im getting rid of all my skin care when one lady who yes is a dermatologist says something bad ab a product.yet hundreds of other dermatologists say there amazing like..yeah ok
