I started listening to Corinne's audio podcast in 2020 & I remember her saying, It's so easy to sit and knit and knit and never get up, you have to get up and move. I went out for a little run in the snow and sleet today and thought about that, it gave me a smile. I always enjoy your shopcast, you have an incredible team!

I look forward to these Shopcasts. They are chock full of good knitting information as well the the process of creating the wooly yarn we all love to knit with. Caittlin's segments always sends me over to Ravelry to add more future projects on my growing list. I especially enjoyed the Fair Isle Postcard this time. Did not realize there were so many processes to wool before it became yarn. This was so interesting. Much work goes into creating one skein of yarn.

Kudos to Maggie for getting as far as she has with the MKAL. Alas, while I love the Rambler yarn, the shawl is not my thing this year. I will do something else with the wool. Scone alert! 30 seconds in! Loved the autumn yardwork report. We are further south so a sturdy broom is both a leaf rake for sidewalks and a "Southern Snow Shovel" for light accumulation. This is my first year following TWT, and the selection box looks like it will be amazing! I paused this shopcast so I could watch last year's "unveiling" and there were lots of oohs and ahhs to be heard. Great show again! Loved the Uist Wool tour. I've been watching a lot of fiber mill tours lately, and this one was very well explained. I am also still on Clue 2 of the Westknits MKAL (even though I've been completely monogamous for the last 2 weeks), about to start the last section of that. I love the challenge of it, but it would be nicer if the MKAL lasted 4 months instead of 4 weeks. Loved Caitlin's segment on choosing colors for projects with variegated/colorshifting yarn. Super helpful. I am eagerly awaiting the pattern for Corinne's new sweater!
